BluephoneElite has been mentioned quite a few times on Esato and its (free) predecessor BluePhoneMenu.

Hi all,
BluephoneElite and BluePhoneMenu are both great and I just registered BluePhoneElite because I wanted the extra application and script functions (so that it runs iSync when my phone is comes into range).

I have read about 1/2 the back post on the very long thread and was wondering if there is a simple way to sync notes BOTH DIRECTIONS with my K700i (via btooth). I know I can send notes from my phone from the more options, but you can't see the notes folder in mac's bluetooth manager. I'd ideally like to have folder of text files that just sync under something triggered by BluePhoneElite. Maybe this is an applescript that someone's written? I've tried fiddling with BlueService and PhoneAgent but I can't see that either do what I want.

I think e2syc http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/27008 does what I'm after for Entourage but I feel dirty having to use Microsoft when I don't have to!

Any ideas?

Yes, that's correct - I did advise you to use Address Book. You said you wanted to "use my mac to sms in school lol". Which is exactly what Address Book allows you to do. It's supplied with the operating system and is free.

You never replied to say that Address Book doesn't do what you wanted, even though it does allow you to "sms in school".

Try to be more specific in your requests for help - then maybe people will be able to give you the answer you want. At least we tried to help you!

Has anyone else been having major issues with Salling Clicker? I find it crashing a lot of the time and the menu item for it keeps stalling: Very annoying! Problems have only really surfaced after upgrading to Tiger.
It seems like the SEC Helper application stops responding and has to be force quit through Activity Monitor.

Offtopic: I am selling a Dual Processor 1Ghz G4 Powermac which has been started up once and then immediately shut down when the person who bought it realised he didn't know how to use it. It has 256MB of RAM although I am willing to throw some more in if I can find it lying around (likely as I have a lot of it) and a Geforce 4 graphics card. Has no scratches whatsoever on it and looks awesome and comes in the original packaging and everything.
Asking price is £550, altho I might compromise on a lower price if you're nice to me
Delivery to be discussed later. If you're interested please email me at lawrencedudley@gmail.com.

I was a beta tester for e2sync. I stopped using it once they continued with an upgrade a week. Also, Entourage does not work with Spotlight. Mail is not as robust but it works quite well. In my opinion, e2sync is a waste of money.

How do I connect to internet with my k600 and PB?

I want to connect to my k600 through Bluetooth adn then on to a 3G connection provided by my k600. How do I do that? I mangae to do it with my t630 but no luck thus far with k600.

Any advice? Scripts? Manus? Applications?

@~lozishere~

I'm currently beta testing v3.0 of Clicker which is approaching release. You'll be very impressed! Not long to wait and hopefully will sort out your issues...

www.novamedia.de

It just works. I use it in the States, Finland, Germany, etc.... Automatic configuration. Instant connections.

well, since it works flawlessly with the t630 why wouldn't it with the k600? If possible, I wouldn't mind not spending 90€ on something that doesn't seem all that complicated.

Here's an idea. Write the developers. They could probably tell you better than you guessing.

@Jools: Is v.3.0 a free upgrade? I'm guessing not

Yes, it will be!! This is what Jonas Salling said about it:

"The 3.0 upgrade will be free. Part of the reasoning here is that I don't want to have to support multiple versions, but rather move everyone forward. I can't promise this (free upgrades) will be possible forever, but as long as I can attract a significant number of new customers, I'll do my best to offer this freebie for old customers (in return, I'm obviously hoping they help bringing in new customers)"
