Whoop it’s happening!
WF-1000XM4’s charging case, which in addition being a lot more compact than the WF-1000XM3's case reveals one potentially important detail. Charging output is listed as 5V = 140mA, a little above the WF-1000XM3’s charging case which is listed as 5V = 120mA. The packaging leak indicated both pairs of Sony earbuds would have the same rated battery life of six hours, but this case detail indicates the WF-1000XM4 will be able to recharge faster. The case apparently supports wireless charging, too.
Even more tantalising is a change to the WF-1000XM4’s FCC documentation. This previously mentioned a short-term confidentiality agreement ending on September 27 2021, suggesting the WF-1000XM4 would launch shortly before then; the Walkman Blog noticed this date has changed to June 9, indicating a much earlier June release.

The screen’s resolution is 1496 x 720 pixels, which is a ratio just taller than 19:9, and on the top Sony is going to put the selfie camera behind a waterdrop notch.
This is somewhat confusing since the first Xperia Ace came with a 5” Full HD+ panel. We’ll know for sure once the Ace 2 is here, which the listing suggests isn't too far away now.
More at the link. It's listed as SO-41B, I assume it'll be Japan-only.

I see so many phones about with fantastic looking ''dual-front' designs and I think they really add value to the product.
So, why hasn't Sony adopted this concept again? At one stage they were the kings but they seem to have abandoned it. How come?

Seems like sony will pull out of home theater market too since they aren't developing any new speakers or amps shame since they were the only ones using magnetic fluids. |

There's a chance that the Ace II will remain the closest we get to an Xperia Compact in 2021, with the majority of the hardware leaks that preceded its launch aligning with the phone's official spec sheet.

People think it is mark 4 because bezel size. I still think it is mark 3 or at least prototype becaue it has same purple. Sony does not use same shade two generation in sequence. Z, Z1, Z2 and Z3 are all different purple. Same to 1, 1ii and 1iii. |
