The focal length is meaningless when it comes to picture quality, so please, no "this is better than that" discussions.
If those really are the correct focal lengths of each phone, and the size of the camera sensors is identical, it means that the W995 has a more wide-angle lens.
This is not something I've noticed though, and I doubt any one will notice any difference in how wide or narrow the lens is.

It would be great if W995 is wide(r) angle compared to C905. Could someone with both phones take a comparison shot of the same subject from the same distance with these phones to check this out. |

But I think charging from the FastPort wallcharger and 3.5mm cord into your stereo for playback is more likely.
