RE the phones loudspeaker. Dont see what the problem is? Its loud enough to hear when it rings. It would only be a problem for those who play music through the speaker, though i dont know many people who do. And i hate people who do it its annoying, put headphones on! Though its a bit tinny, not as bad as w880 though....

Does the W910 make a sound when opening the slider(like the W900)?
can you easily answer calls when open it?

Won in the SonyEricsson MusicTrip Contest, I was told they will ship it from Sweden or Germany don't know, as soon as they received it themselves, somehow they need to order it first, haven't got any in stock, I guess it will last ages until I finally get it !

I said I wanted the black one, though the white colour scheme doesn't look bad, but isn't yet available yet I guess, forgot to ask !

After a few days of use i'm not sure if i really want to continue using my w910i, although it is a sleek phone i had my heart set on the w950i, and saw it in the shops today, so once i have my 25 posts its going up for trade

I have had a W910i for a couple of days now, and I have experienced a few issues:

- Poor reception;
- Unreliable bluetooth;
- HSPDA not working;
- badly compressed images when set as wallpaper and also in web images;
- Crackle when starting and stopping playback;
- EQ settings not being kept when exiting and entering Walkman player;

Is anyone else experiencing this? And what are you planning to do if you are?
I just want to know what other people experiences are...

[Update]: The phone was unbranded and from CPW. I went there today and had the handset replaced.

I noted that the first handset brought out as a replacement kept restarting in-store, so they had to get another one out!

Hello from Barcelona.
Do you know if the problems with W910 are only in the branded phones?
The unbrandeb sim free models works without problems?
Thanks

This has to be one of my worst experiences with Sony Ericsson phones, yes its smaller and has more features than the W850, but the basics have way let the company down.

Main points

1. Speakerphone is almost useless
2. Earpiece makes calls difficult
3. This is my 4th phone first 3 had faults
4 Vodafone software is extremly crap, with dodgy graphics, restricting flash menus and unable to delete crappy TRIAL games, of games I've played and owned months ago - sorry Vodafone, not again.

1.you probably use louderspeaker when talking to people or playing music hmm.
2.explain more how does is it difficult? when the clarity and all is pretty damn fine
3.+4. is your w910 voda branded if so, maybe thats why the last 3 phones were faulty im only assuming

dont think you can blame it all on - not saying you have:)

Speakerphone would be a useful feature if I wanted to talk to someone whilst using my PC, in a generally quiet environment, but I have to shout into the mouthpiece which is stupid.

Earpiece sound is muffled and harder to hear than the W850, I have noticed shuch a sudden difference it has taken over 2 weeks to get used to it.

Sony Ericsson have gone down the road of allowing hte phones to be corrupted by Vodafone, dont know if the faults are Vodafone or Sony Ericssons fault, but why should I care?

My last 7 mobiles have been Sony Ericsson, (excluding replacements) with replacements I have had 13, on the last 3 models I had, they are progressively getting poorer in terms of reliability.

about mine,branded by Movistar (Spain):

- yes, it goes back to mega bass every time you choose a new song!!
- yes, the media manager is VERY SLOW and it freezes too often.
*****It is my second unit. The first one just did not allow me to enter games or application and would reset itself whenever it wanted.Got it changed.
- this one doesn't accept flash icons-themes either, it accpet themes but it keeps Movistar static icons--and is really slow.
-camera is the worst I have seen My w850 did great photos if I compare them. Unbelievable.
Please SE, do not allow these disastrous brandings anymore.
I hope I can flash it soon.
-MIne also restarts on its own when I'm listening through my hp-82 headphones.Really pissing me off.
