Strange because I just called them and they said that it wasn't in stock, but expected any day...

And the webpage looks like it has done the last weeks

http://www.elgiganten.se/is-b[....]uctID=GljD4QFHXVEAAAETN0tOtj3l

For our non swedish speaking readers, it states preliminary avalability to 2007-08-01

Cheers

Well X1387 on Ebay shows that he's got 9 available......I guess they are starting to ship out......Exciting!!

**Edit** However, on the site it shows only phone, charger, and battery comes with the phone.....don't tell me SE isn't even shipping it with a sync cable!!

and he says he's shipping from the States. I thought this phone wasn't gonna be released there.

Interesting...I've just emailed him. Let's see what he says, but my biggest concern is the lack of sync cable and earphones....that seems a bit strange to me.

@ frefferoni

Yeah I saw that about the time, I talked to them aswell today and they said that they had several in stock. She thought that one store in my area might get some tomorrow.

She told me also that I should call tomorrow and see if they got any to the store.

Does anyone know the exact font of the text P1i on the front and back of this phone??? Or as close as possible??

Gonna make a decal company print my name in same size and font and put on the left side of the phone (where P1i is but on the left)

Hi all,

Very interesting read and maybe i have missed something but how come their is no mention of VOIP any where in the manual? or is this just like when SE said the P990 would be supported for Mac's and wasn't?. I know Fring should have a version out for it soon but that's not quite the same as SE saying it would have built in support and it doesn't. I mean how are we meant to trust anything SE say when they constantly lie absolutely unbelievable IMO.

well except for the quickoffice and pdf apps, there is usually no mention of 3rd party apps in the user's guide, presumably because SE can't always predict when the developer's app will be ready.

SE didn't say it would be a 3rd party app they said it would have a VOIP app which was even rumoured by some to mean a Skype app. Even reviews mention this now missing feature. Just what is going on at SE when they say one thing and then by launch it's not there and this is not the first time either is it, Mac support for the P990 a battery that became a Typo a device that is working well are just some of the things SE are happy to claim and not deliver.

Dogmannn why do you have to continually try and put SE down, all you've had is negative comments and post the same comments in all the P1i threads, what's the point? are you some sort of nokia lover!!

@phoneboy

Why can't you handle the truth? why do you feel the need to protect anything SE do however wrong it is.

Lets congratulate SE for launching a range of devices that were premium products at premium prices that weren't fit for release. Lets congratulate SE for stopping supporting under a Year old product that still has issues. Lets congratulate SE for being as all of that makes perfect sense only if you are insane as that is what you would have to be to consider those actions to be the right and roper way of dealing with your customers.

By the same token why do you feel the need to ignore all these things and pretend everything is perfect?
