Updated my P990i to latest firmware. Don't know if this is a bug but everytime I restart my phone and tap on the time function, the phone vibrates once and the LED blinks green until I tap on the screen. Sometimes, it vibrates continuously until I turn the phone off.

Anyone had this problem?

I have the latest firmware. Exactly the same problem. And also a problem with Contacts - Caller ID. My wife's contact is no longer recognized. It keeps telling to add number and can't read her SMSs - telling message is incomplete - access denied!

Anybody has this problem?

Upgraded the firmware of my P990i following instructions on the SEUS software. Then, when the software went back to the start screen, I removed my phone and try turning it on, the screen just flashed non stop.Wat did I do wrong? Please help. Thanks!

The exact same thing happened to me!
At the roughly the 48% progress mark, the "DO NOT TOUCH YOUR PHONE" screen just went back to the main menu. No completion messages...no nothing.

Good thing I did not touch the phone and just repeated the flash process.
Worked the second time around.

But damn...that was a very scary 30 minute experience....

Why?! I want a phone that works properly!!!
In my work we would call this product on at the best "Beta", not even a "Release candidate". And it has been out for almost 2 months on the market! I think SE really needs to fix this rather soon, otherwise I think they lost a the small portion of the "Smart Phone" market that they have left...

1 - the phone is working more or less properly with latest firmware

2 - all PXXX add to be updated untill they reach the optimum point

3 - all smartphones have to be updated - n80, n93, etc, all had bugs and have been optimized with firmware updates

4 - i already knew this will happen before buying the P990. if you didn´t, you should, because this is a BIG investment, and one should get all the info available before making such thing

5 - i´m waiting the next fw without any stress...i´m enjoying the phone

Ares... you forgot a couple of things: we have not paid "more or less" the total price, we have paid completly the final price..., and SE never told us that this phone was not completly operative before giving them the total money!!!!
