that's because you should be searching for disc2phone (note the spelling). Anyway, in a google search using the incorrect term "disk2phone" the first hit was an article on esato with info you need, so are you sure you really searched?
Incidently, the Sony Ericsson website for W800 offers the disc2phone software free to download.

ei guys... some questions here...
- for w800 users.. wat is the function of the button at the side of w800, like the music button of k750?
- is there a modified w800 firmware with the activity button like that of the k750?
- how long will it take to flash a fone(e.g. flashing k750 with a w800 firmware)

@Slasher,

Same as that of K750 - either radio or MP3 player or whatever was last used. The difference here is that you don't need to plug in ur headphones to use this button, unlike the K750.
- is there a modified w800 firmware with the activity button like that of the k750?
Not yet, but may be possible in the not-too-distant future.
- how long will it take to flash a fone(e.g. flashing k750 with a w800 firmware)
Around 12-15 minutes, if you already have the flash files on ur computer. The total size of flash files is around 30 MB.

@slasher
- does the flash files include the firmware?
There are two .bin files, one part is the main firmware, and the 2nd part is the filesystem. The combined size is ~30 MB. Both are necessary to be transferred to the phone during flashing. They're available for download at topsony.com.
- what firmware do you prefer, k750's or w800's?
Depends on your personal choice. Get the K750 firmware if you don't want the flightmode and walkman media player - the advantage of K750 is the activity menu.
The W800 firmware lacks the activity menu, but u can play the music with the fone switched off (flight mode) to save battery.
Everything else is similar.

does anyone here have language files .t9 for indonesian (id) or malaysian (ms). I already have the .lng files. Language files for european language definitely easier to find. Of course I can flash my phone to apac fs, but I just need either one of this file. Thanks |

But if you read the official specs from the white papers for the phone from the Sony Ericsson website, it says the phone supports Bluetooth 2.0. What other hardware requirements are needed for A2DP? |

ahm, a good start would be an A2DP chip. W800 doesn't have it.
not all bluetooth chips support all the possible bluetooth profiles. Take my word for it - it's a hardware issue. Google it if you don't believe me, but I know what I'm talking about.
Bluetooth 2 set's out a standard; it doesn't define what services MUST be provided by bluetooth, only that when bluetooth services are implemented they are done so according to the standard.
If you don't need A2DP (when manufacturing a bluetooth device) then you can save chip size by using a chip that doesn't include the A2DP wiring. This does not mean the device doesn't comply with the bluetooth 2.0 standard. What use A2DP in a headset for one ear? Or what use the object push profile on a headset?
If you do just a tiny bit of googling you will see that most bluetooth devices only implement a subset of the available profiles in the bluetooth standard. Does that make them non-compliant? No.
Here are the profiles that the K750 supports ie: that are built into the bluetooth chip itself (not firmware implemented):
Dial-up Networking Profile
Generic Access Profile
Generic Object Exchange Profile
Headset Profile
Object Push Profile
Serial Port Profile
Synchronization Profile
Basic Imaging Profile
Handsfree Profile
Headset Profile
Basic Imaging Profile
File Transfer Profile
Human Interface Device (HID) Profile
SyncML OBEX binding
JSR-82 Java API
PS: the above list is from the K750 White Paper.
