786KBR and kwiksta have u guys checked out the mxit mods available which allow u to install skinned mxits and more than one mxit running at a time etc?the site is nabster.wen.ru , there's even skinned opera mini etc and partial mp3's on da site .

So... I decided (a month away from my upgrade) to clean my joystick on my k700i (it was acting up... but after 2 years what do you expect.)
So I broke out some contact cleaner and cleaned the area around the joystick. Well, good news and bad news.
Good news: the joystick works 120% better now.
Bad news: The contact cleaner got on the screen and now I have bright and dark patches everywhere. It's 5 days now and no matter what i do it won't right itself...
Sigh... the price of trying to do things yourself. |

Well, at least, on virgin i dont have to hold for 10 minutes or more to get sonme help... they are fast

@ Tsony!! Got it on loaded no problem They do support it I made them 2weeks before i got it!! 
Falcon thats a fake version!! I dont advise you use it!! Esp if you using a symbian phone.... it doesnt bother  phones!

@ Falcon786 and everyone else, about the skinned Mxit's, it is illegal to do that, and I would advise you not to download that version...the thing is, what stops those guys from putting malicious code in there? If anyone of you HAVE to have a modded version, someone i know that has a w900i made a version. and would be happy to make any of you one aswell...he just needs phone and model...and there is no risk of unknown freaks playing around with the code as this person we all know is trustworthty in this regard(and not clued up on code=)...but once again, it is illegal...
yeah, I am addicted to a game called Port Royale 2 on my phone...what fun! Keeps me up late at night! Anyone know where I can find a 320x240 version of the game? I know one is available, but it is impossible to find...

Anyway, 786KBR, go to http://mysonik.com/modules/mydownloads/, there are games, applications, themes somewhere...found great games here, and also, Opera Russian Version is here...the only version that seems to work on my phone at this present time...
I just went to check out those hacked mxit's...my word they look crap! what is the point of getting an illegal version and it looks like a cheap website...my "friends" version looks 100times nicer!lol!
Just read that Mxit article...my word! Mxit rehab...I was bad at one stage with Mxit, but life in front of me is better, real...the novelty wore off soon...I only use it now when a friend smses me to come in and talk, usually international...I am linked up to a few friends via Googletalk, so i have a few chit-chats during the day via Googletalk..but thats quick...

I was in a Cape Town room of mxit the other night and it's as crazy as I thought it was going to be...constant requests for asl's and private chats...very few women in there, mostly bored teenagers.
I need a new computer should I go for an AMD Athlon 64 or the new Duo-Core from Intel, will probably get a 17inch LCD monitor with a DVD writer (what about Blu-Ray?). Too many choices out there.

Uxolo for being so quiet lately, mense, the 'flu has me laid low. I've never had it this bad, in fact, i'm usually up and about within a day, but this time i've been knocked out since Monday. The doc saw me again yesterday, and put me on a different antibiotic which has worked wonders! Anyway, that little skit by Francois has certainly helped, i've been pissing myself laughing!
By the way, here's where i got my tweaked version of Opera Mini...

@da krypsta: Sorry to hear that you got the sniffles...I can thank my lucky stars that I've not been seriously laid low this year even as we suffered some horrible weather down in Cape Town...today is something else though, it's so hot I might walk down the beach later this evening when I get home.

Yes, I agree with you about Vodacom customer care, they take forever and when You speak to them tehy don't have a clue....When I was back in S.A. in July I was having problems connecting WAP with my V3 and it kept on giving me an error that the settings were too big....They recommended waiting 24 hours

Hi man,
I have checked the site out when I was in S.A. - my cousin told me about it....The mxit's are quite cool, some are a bit tacky though, but the guy is doing well Unfortunately, Mxit refuses to work back here in the U.k.

Hey people,
Does anybody know how to get Mxit working from the U.K. on my K800i??
I've had the problem before on my V3 where it tries to sign up, and it just says 'Connecting'...followed by 'reconnecting' and then eventually ana error...I'm on 02-UK so if anyone could shed some light, it will be really appretiated

EDIT: @brix25, I just saw you're post...I would personally recommend the Intel - I just don't like AMD and I do think Intel are better....Don't worry about the Blu-Ray, I love Sony to bits and will only buy from them, but in my honest opinion, Blu-Ray will be a failure...They are heading for a bit of a disaster (I think) due to the limitations etc and all the high-tech stuff they are going to put on them...My friend works in a game shop and he always recieves info from Sony employees etc...He told me about how Blu-ray will be crap because Sony are going to try and get rid of Second-hand game sales by putting some technology in...Apparently when you insert your game for the first time, it will modify something of the disk or console and from then on you will need that console specifically to play that specific game - IE. If ever you get a replacement, you might not be able to play your previous games This is only what I heard from him, so don't take my word for it mate ...And if ever you need to burn a Blu-Ray disk (:lol:) then I would say that sooner or later there will be external burners....because at the moment I think there are very limited laptops which PLAY Blu-Ray (maybe like 2 from what my PS2 magazine says)...And I think it will be long before all computers will come standard with A Reader/Writer....
