just tried using the UpdateService_Inst_2.6.4.9.exe to update the phone and it's saying it's upto date 
but it has that old software still on it not that newer one any ideas guys?

so this is the first time you update via SEUS? i assumed that you'd just download the SEUS program from  sites.. it should be no problem.

Hello,
I ran SEUS also for the first time today, and it also said my phone was upto date (yet it is R1BC002) - surely this is not the latest version? (although what I can gather from reading other posts it is the best one?)
The thing is, I am desperate to change that bloody annoying camera shutter sound, but I just can't do it! I can't use FAR Manager either because my phone is CID49 (whatever that means!!!)
Any new developments on getting rid of these sounds?

lol i have no idea except my own region( APAC_1 ).. maybe just a matter of time? but FYI this firmware released quite a while though..

hmm... I guess if I get any more faults i'll just take it to my local CPW it's got 12mth warranty btw

Hi
I guess a firmware update is meant to take out the flaws in the software .i was having a cid 36 phone which is dead.Now i bought a new k750 but it has CID 49.Since i cannot use farmanger i tried to update it with seus.I was having R1CA001 and now its R1bd001 .
What the hell is this the sound of mp3 is so bad its like compressed.Is SE doing this deliberatly to promote their walkman phones.Now i cannot use far manager.To change the phf2_play.Now i have to wait dont know for how many decades for an update to the firmware. |

hi uhm whats the diff bet. APAC and EU?and my firmware version is R1BC002 but it doesnt have any chinese characters is there any way to have chinese characters when i upgraded my firmware?thanks |

Dont upgrade the firmware otherwise u will end with up some crap music player.R1CA001 is the best till know.I am very much f**kd up as i upgraded to R1BD001.
Anyone having an idea when will be next firmware upgrade would out. |

R1DB001 released just under two months and im afraid it won't be any latest firmware for the next 5 months or more.. keep your fingers crossed.
