HSDPA version of K530 should come soon. From sneff @ se-world.info:
Hello Community, apparently Vodafone exclusively it will left give soon a HSDPA version of the K530i Internernet. The technical data are otherwise allegedly the same. Code name of the equipment is “Jie” and it still this year will appear. Details to the optics are not yet admit it are however a V630-K610-like “transformation” conceivable - announcement should be to 14.08.2007.
So, there's your next announcement date

A K530 twin? I hope there is something better coming too. Like a K610 successor with the JP8 and qvga the camera can be the same though.
I don't want a signature anymore. |

I hope the K530 twin would have autofocus lens, HSDPA and JP-8

I reckon it'll just be something like a 'V650'.
Same as the K530, but HSDPA to complement Vodafone's HSDPA network. SE wouldn't give Voda exclusive access to a phone with AF and QVGA screen now would they
So, I guess that means an update
- Jie
A Vodafone exclusive version of the K530 with HSDPA. Otherwise specifications are very similar.
- The next announcement may be on the 14th of August. Victoria and Jie may be announced.

again, keep in mind that the most impressive phone does not have to be of the highest specs
so far I like what I see, but don't take it too seriously when somebody warns you of the material. just like the w880i, they're taking their time for good and some finishing touch on the antenna (internal, don't panic), should be interesting.
got back from holiday, back to work

Sony Ericsson will announce a new handset, possibly next month, codenamed Victoria. The handset is very thin, thinner than the T650 according to our source, and features a 3.2 MP camera. In keeping with the handset's thin look the camera lens is flush against the body of the handset. The lens itself, according to our source, looks great and has a sliding metal cover although the handset itself is made of plastic.
Our source mentioned a gold/mocha colouring, whether that's the only combination available I don't know. Our source said there was no Cybershot branding although I wonder if this is perhaps because it was a prototype, but then again it may not be intended as a Cybershot handset.
I really want and wait for T650 and then Victoria is coming....

Internal antenna? As in FM antenna?
Sounds like a nice device. I would like to see more phones like the T650i - there isn't enough choice of non-branded phones.
EDIT: Don't tell me its a TV antenna. Is it?

@thecoolsha
Congrats on getting post No. 6666
@goldenface
I don't think so really. Remember when xumdeo said something about how refining the reception on the W880 a while, and all it was was one wire, or something like that.
Although I am looking forward to seeing if SE integrate the Sagem internal TV antenna into their phones.
@Rifqu_Aziz
Now that I think about it more, the thinner profile of the phone suggests to me that the 3.2 MP camera will be non-AF.
UPDATE:
- Victoria will be made of plastic, be thinner than the T650, have a flush metal lens cover for the 3.2 megapixel camera, come in a gold/mocha type colour.

speaking of antennae, an internal antenna doesn't work as well as external antenna for DMB, SE knows it too well from their experience in Japan (and from everybody else in Japan and Korea), the question is how to hide that antenna so that it won't pop out when you're not watching TV
this might not be related to the next announcement. |

Isn't the present one not a good solution?

When will you have more imformation about the 5 megapixel clamshell? Because my sister, who wants a camera and clamshell phone, is looking forward to this. She is already tired of her 2 month old n93i |
