May/June. Don't forget the C680x Honami One Sony will also have the S800 too.
Check this for the latest on the upcoming Sony phones for 2013: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AreyfktYnDHtdHN0bVFPdUFJd0ZiNzZQcjMwV1I5M0E#gid=0 |

So many phones and a tablet with s800... nice! So, chances of the smartwatch launching with s800? Hehe, would be amazing, but would have 5 minute battery life. |

Im looking forward to seeing a new smart watch too. The one Im currently using really needs a lot of improvements, such as battery time, touch responsiveness etc.
Moreover, I do hope the build-quality would be more premium! |

I know it's a bit of topic, but where is the 4.2.2 update for the Xperia Z which was promised "shortly after launch"?
The next major Android Version is due in mid May and even if Sony is going to release 4.2. by then, it's already outdated and the waiting game begins again.
However, I have a theory. Last year, when Jelly Bean 4.1. or 4.2. was released (I don't remember at which event) Google said something along the lines, that they want to speed up the upgrade and adoption rate for OEMS by providing them with sources and everything they would need to implement a new Android version in their phones. I think Google said, they're going to provide everything necessary 3 months before a new update is announced to the public.
Therefore, OEM's could already work on it behind the scenes and once the update is announced to the public, they could offer it to their customers rather quickly, instead of 6 months or more later.
So maybe, but only maybe (5% chance?!) Sony is doing exactly this - secretly working on the Android 5 update while skipping 4.2. entirely. Then, as soon as Android 5 is announced, maybe within 4 weeks later, there's the update.
Everybody will be happy and surprised. Big win for Sony! |

Please wait let the 2012 phones get Jelly Bean then let the sony team work on 4.2 for 2013 phones.
Yes,last year in google I/O they did mention about the release of source code to OME before the official announcement. So ya might be true Sony might have got 5.0 already.
Google I/O is round the corner next month May 2nd week. |

I guess they can sell those screens for higher price for HTC, and buy for their own phones cheaper screens. Than they sell their phones for really high price, because it has the best of Sony . That's what I don't like about Sony in recent months, that they are trying to sell teir phones for an unjustified high price. And the phones' streghts are just plain promises, referring to Sony as a brand, without proving them. |
