I've used MTN for 3 days now and I'm like "what a rubbish network". You call people and it doesn't connect.. sometimes it connects and you don't hear the other person or it doesn't ring.. I hereby conclude and rest my case that Vmo.. sorry, Celtel is still the best network in Nija. MTN is a shite and conjested network.. |

@mamba...our gsm operators are not honest with us. Their networks can not carry the subscribers the have yet they are selling more lines.
@ALL... Where did MTN get the new 0803 lines that they are selling now?

One clear thumbs-down for Celtel is the notorious issue of not being able to speak with a customer care representative for days on end. You keep trying and you keep being told by the automated system to visit the Celtel website, which isn't saying much.
@angelgirl: that flashing you did around 4a.m.... Ahem... Thankfully, my wife was asleep, and she happens to know that "angelgirl" in my phonebook is the person lying in a hospital bed, or else...  Just kidding. When I told her about your 4a.m. Flash, she actually reprimanded me for not calling you back immediately. You guys know yourselves from somewhere or what?

@angel...they are not stolen or lost lines. they are being sold all over delta state and are 080335...lines.

@PXTH: All the hype behind 0806 was just that....HYPE!!! MTN does not have 10,000,000 active subscribers. At best (but i doubt!!!!) they have sold over 10,000,000 lines.
@aya: What has Celtel done (again) that you need to call CC? that might clarify your dislike of the network. Last time i got Vmobs CC was 2004 but it wasnt a complaint per se, it was some info i needed, but i can guess how frustrating it is. Last i knew, there was a maze of options by that slightly irritating voice, that takes you no where after 10 mins of pressing numbers. Havent tried it this year though.
