T640? no.. "4" is not possible
The "similar to the T650" phone will have lower specs (than T650), am I right? Maybe non-UMTS, but EDGE, 2mpx with AF and price about 300$? I'm just dreaming
Fingers crossed for T500

When can we expect walkman phones with DSP chips or does the latest generation have them?

Lin : successor of Lizy since M600 was used by Lin Vesper:)
Erika: An emotional design phone, since the Japanese artist Erika Sawajiri is the icon of W51S. Another S-series or T-series?
Daniela: S800i Cyber-shot.
Akikko: no idea. It should be Akiko instead of Akikko, after Japanese WTA player Akiko Morigami.
Severine: I bet it's a low-end one:)
Btw, anybody knows the code name of T650, T250 and Z250?

Hi all!
I have been following this thread for months, ever since I first did a Google search for new SE phones. Here in Canada, SE fans are few and far between! I have been a big fan of SE products ever since I first purchased a W800i. Subsequently, I purchased a K790a late last year because I wanted a good camera and a phone. I have not been disappointed.
I have read the specs of the K850 that SE plans to release and its impressive. However, I am sincerely hoping that SE comes up with a device that competes with the likes of the iPhone or the Prada phone or the recently rumoured LG KU990. A multi-touch Cybershot phone with real camera buttons and automatic lens cover would be an absolutely stunning and impressive device. It need not necessarily be a smartphone either. All it needs to be able to do (in addition to the phone functions) is play music, take good pictures and surf the web well. Indeed, I think web surfing is more the iphone's killer app than even its ipod functions. Anybody else share my view? |

I know this is a rumours thread.....my proposal is a rumour I am begging for....
If any body has heard of a device like that coming out I would love to know....I know there is the P1 and other SE smartphones. The problem for me is that SE does not equip their smartphones with good cams (ie...autofocus, 3MP, and XENON FLASH). In my view, thats what makes the cybershot....I am dismayed when I read Shaliron's excellent lead off page and find that Sony still shooting below its potential...IMHO. |

| Wrong. T250 was code named Olga.
from my observations, sometimes it's better off not knowing. |

Hi mate.
SE won't be giving up the traditonal keypad anytime soon. If the iPhone format takes off then may be but SE believes that before anything else, its devices, first and foremost should be excellent phones - something which the iPhone isn't. I don't think any texting competitions will be won on a touch-screen keypad.
