Hello. Just want to ask how much does it cost if ung \"mother chip\" ang papalitan, both the labor and the parts for a t29? I was told that its like the most expensive part of the fone.
Tnx in advance

i bought my unit sa Globe. According to SEMICON, the battery is not covered by warranty. Is this true? Kahit defective ang battery???

was complaining about the weak sms tone ina a previous post and someone contributed that the tone has been adjusted via a software upgrade.... it was a R5-something version.
anyways, i checked my sw and it is just r2e006.
no problems naman with the phone (got it last week at alabang town center for 10.5k with a little flirting with the shop owner...ok lang wala naman si gf eh), except that the sms tone i think was made for superman with extra powerful audio senses.
my unit is an mc converted to i....would smartnet be able to upgrade this...since it is in i mode na?
saan na ang new location ng smartnet?
of course given na yung magbabayad ako since grey unit. how much is the damage?
thanks.

@vjmd, if you will read the previous posts on this thread, G_M stated that Smartnet cannot upgradet the firmware of T68mc even if it is already MMS capable. So i guess you will be stucked in that firmware. |

@ Sir G_M,
In view of the fact that everytime ther's a new software or firmware upgrade, we your patrons have always been wondering what would be the benefit of upgrading to such software/firmware and most of the time we ourselves have to discover what's was UPGRADED with our fone which is needless to say medyo weird kasi we should know firsthand before we have our phones upgraded kung ano yung magiging benefits after the said upgrade .
If it's not too much effort, (We know naman your a busy man sir ! ) can we humbly ask your good office to post here in this thread an info/primer whenever ther's a new software/firmware upgrade ?
Thank you for your time sir..hoping for your imediate response and kind consideration regarding this matter .

@hansel21, thats what i thought at first too. since converted mc to mms capable becomes ie. so i thought yung mc na converted na eh pwedeng ipa upgrade and firmware sa smartnet but G_M mentioned maybe around 1-2 pages back na kahit daw mms capable na ang t68mc eh di daw nila pwedeng pa upgrade ang firmware. My sister who has that doesnt mind, unless mag release ang SE ng firmware na magpapalakas ng message alert

@casperr, R5C001 firmware increases the sms and ring tone. I thought mc upgraded to ie units are supported locally. Why not give Ms Dj of Sony Ericsson Phil. a call. 6351860 to 61 .

kenski... use the search up there and type R5A020 or R5C001 or click this, it would be easier http://esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=11507&forum=2&62
