A small discussion concerning the UI in the V800 has been on at mobile-review.com but nobody seem to know whether it uses exactly the same but modified UI as the K700i/S700i. Someone said that you Vlammetje might know this.
Anyone in here knows anything about that?

Looks like the basis is the same for K700 S700 K/F/Z500 Z1010 V800

But the V800 definitely has more in common with the Z1010 then the K700

Still I'd say they all have the same basic UI

Well I must say I think the V800 has the nicest UI of them all even if they are very much the same but the V800 is the only one with Windows look a like pop up animation and animated highlights.
I love my V800 more for every day passing.

I wouldn't say windows look (not would I think windows look is actually a compliment )

and I don't have animated pop ups

And hardly use the animated menus anyway... too busy loving my own themes

The animated themes though are a step up from the past fw versions and one I encourage in (as long as they leave an option to switch it off )

so from wat i read... u can enable/disable animated menus??

Jus imagine creating a theme with our own custom animations, meaning menus, pop ups, etc.. not just animated wallpaper... anyway it is possible?

YeaH! Hope 2 hear ur good news then on V800 arrival..

Alas I'm still V800less. Looks like Vodafone didn't mess up this time, but Parceline sent it to the Yate depot - ie. the wrong depot. Should be here tomorrow apparently, assuming a Parceline employee doesn't pilfer it for a Christmas present.

We've not come quite that far mate

themes are notn the greatest where customisation comes in, can't change icons or anything on it. So no it's not possible.

oooooooh dark red would be a nice christmassy colour

for 'everyday use' I'd go with titanium silver (white gets dirty + I don't like white)
