Lately, loading your Sun sim has become a risk of losing your money. Last Sunday, I bought Php300 load and converted Php250 to 24/7. 15 minutes passed and still no call card no. I called 200 and by a stroke of UNBELIEVABLE luck, somebody actually took the call and made a report about my complaint.

I guess I'm luckier than others because I got the call card no. the next day. A friend of mine saw her Php100 go down the drain.

It varies from night to night, from hour to hour. 9 p.m. last night, I dialled for 10 minutes but no success. It could've been better 5 minutes later but I had already lost patience and gone to sleep

With 24/7, Sun took a bigger bite than they could swallow.

Try nyo muna not to load your 24/7 until hinde na talaga kayo makatawag. I'm experiencing free CTU for 2 days na kahit na dapat the other day pa ako nag-load

@chili
I suggest don't buy then convert to CTU 24/7. Risky daw talaga. Just buy the regular 100 or 250 CTU cards.

Yung free SMS kasi ang habol ko kaya regular load ang binibili ko. (Php300 regular load comes with 50 free SMS to other networks.)

well [crosses fingers, knocks on wood], i have been converting the regular load to CTU and hasn't encountered anything i could consider a problem. hirap lang talaga ma-access yung system.

load conversion din ang gawa ko para may free text.

@ chili

yeah ryt..i remember tuloy yung globe tel when they first offered the unlimited text messaging (1998 yata), at first free then they had a rate of 160Pesos per month..so dumami ang subscribers at naclogged ang network..and i remember din agawan pa ng SIM nun...i bought my Globe SIM then for 2500 pesos (thats a lot for me then considering na 3rd year college pa lang me nun )

i think thats the same fate with SUN Cell..they offered something that is almost free..and later on, they wr overwhelmed w the massive influx of subscribers..too much for them to handle.

I'm hoping that all non-gprs users get tired of their Sun sims and get a Touch Mobile instead

Can anybody confirm if Sun's service is getting any better? Maraming complaints pero wala bang good news?

You're right about the free text from converting regular load to CTU. But the system for that is not working at times. Oh well...

Sana nga mag-shift na yung iba to Touch mobile para lumuwag ang Sun lines

Weird! I can't text or call since 1030 this morning...ok pa naman yung 24/7 ko even the prepaid inquiry is down...even hotline 200.
