If Sony brought a nice 12" 4K OLED SD888 tablet I would surely buy it. Technology is there from Xperia 1 III so just scale it and include a larger battery. Design of Xperia Z2/Z4 tablets is still amazing, so they can continue that design with smaller bezels. Main issue is software where Google has not really kept up with Apple on the tablet side. Anyway if Sony wants to pursue their strategy of Xperia supplementing their Alpha cameras (and possibly PS5) it would make sense to include a top performing tablet with 4K OLED. Fingers crossed...

Her post is "Aube on sensor". Just that.
I think it is related to a WRGB sensor.
Not sure if I understand, but seems that the demosicing can produce 2 frames, one RGB and one monochrome, then merge both.
I have no idea. |

Hmmm. Sony did massive jobs cuts and “restructuring” cutting expenses in 2020 from early April - news thread here with links on this forum about that. When expenses are reduced payroll which includes benefits cost and share price reimbursements as job incentives then yes that’ll be perceived as higher revenues and profits.
Need to be careful making presumptions - needs to see financial and sales results about that. Also let’s see if the profits is consistent.
So technically yes but we want organic profits without cost cutting which leads to job cuts.

The costs were reduced.
But the % of flagships sold increased.
Average selling price is now over $1000.
Sony was not expecting profits of almost $250 mi.
