I'd take Aino, because I hate S60, but I don't think that helps you.

How annoying, the phone is capable of using touchscreen yet SE have chosen not to implement it into the menus, 3rd party software is likley to be touch enabled as well. I wouldn't of minded if they just added touch and not changed the ui, it still would be usefull than no touch at all.
Do you think it would be possible for a hack to allow touchscreen throughout the phone? |

With snap on speakers and 60 movies, just like 995
A bit expensive, €499

Maybe they will implant full touch later? I remember when I got my C510 Nordic, it did not support Asian languages, but a later update made it so (Well, except Korean). And I assume this "handicapped"-touch is because of the SW, not the HW?
Currently NExus 4, but want Xperia ZR. |

That looks really good. A2 has come a long way and I hope I have mine by next week. The white version looks so nice.

So if Opera mini 5 touch works good on Aino, it seems that people will make some use of the touchscreen except for the built in apps after all... This phone reminds me of my friend's LG Secret... LIMITED TOUCHSCREEN functions... shouldn't had done that... It would be great to see the first A2 (non smartphone) running with touchscreen...
But after all.... It's good as it is..

As I see from the pictures, SE were able to add 3.2 or 3.1 inch screen in that body. There is big black border around the screen, why hadn't implented bigger screen? Something like this one:
It would be better for watching movies and for the touchscreen menus. Don't you think?

Eh 3 is enough really. Screens always have big black borders around them. If they made it any larger the phone would be hard as hell to use. |

@Guys, your definition for DSP is one sided, DSP has two different meanings.
DSP - Digital Signal Processing
DSP - Digital Sound Processor - Audio Acceleration Chipset for Decoding and Encoding audio
and Mind you guys, all phones have inbuilt Sound Processors inside their System Platform. and to achieve better audio quality a dedicated Hardware and Software Sound Engine is used. the two should never be separated if we want true quality audio, but manufacturers tend to separate these two. we haven't seen a phone with both software and hardware sound engine installed. music phones like N81, N91, N97 have dedicated chip for audio processing but the bad thing is that it doesn't have a parallel audio software engine to maximize the utilization of the hardware to produce much better audio quality than it currently has. and here comes some walkman phones coming with clear audio technology which is simply a software engine but the need for a hardware acceleration is compromised. It is similar to having a powerful graphics chip but without proper driver engine to run it at maximum performance.
