return to the place you bought it seems to be only option.i would not recommend getting a cable and software to update the phone.if the flash goes wrong, byebye phone..so far the problems i encountered is auto restarting when using wap...(at least it doesn`t hang like the earlier nokia 7110`s!)

Hi guys! I have my R520 for more than a year now, got fw R4A. Not much problems except rebooting while browsing & speakerphone failing to work sometimes. Overall, very satisfied, this thing is really a keeper. :-)

R4A008 is the latest and might be the final version.

it is the final version... it was announced in october last year by that the firmware development for T39m/mc and R520m/mc is discontinued.

@ buz, Wrong thread buddy, but I'll help you anyway, go to an authorized SE service center & have your firmware upgraded. :-)

For the R520 and T39 the latest firmware version is R4B008 (has been out for at least two months now), this was confirmed by SE support. You can always e-mail support for this kind of question.

BTW, I cannot comment on changes/ fixes for i haven't got R4B, R4A works fine for me.

Cheers,

My motion snooze is too freaking sensitive and/or gives false positives!

What gives!? Is there any way to adjust this?

Despite the keylock being active I can still turn off my phone by accident. i.e. if you press 'No' long enough the phone eventually switches off. I have R2K firmware. Has this problem been fixed in the latest firmware? If it has than that alone would be a good enough reason for me to get it upgraded. I have only had an r520m for 10 days. My R320 is now in retirement!
