Does anyone know how to remove the "vodafone life!" shortcut?

Sorry for the low quality photo, I only have a webcam and k850i for taking photos.

Debranding your handset is the only way (use DaVinci, for instructions look here. You'll need to put back all the Vodafone connection settings for browsing and such after you've debranded but you can get those sent directly to your phone from SE here.

Damn... davinci is expensive! 50€ if I understand correctly. And also, doesn't debranding cancel the guarantiee?
As far as I know, FW for branded phones is released sooner than unbranded.

50€ for unlocking the phone but 10€ for debranding. It does void the warranty I believe, but if you develop any problems just flash it back to voda firmware (on davinci again) and send it back then. They won't know the difference. Usually, unbranded firmware is faster in being released but for the K850 the branded firmwares seem to be a step ahead for now. I think that's because the branded firmware needed updating a lot more urgently because it was painfully slow and had much more problems with rebooting spontaneously. I'd expect after the next major update (should be today or tomorrow) unbranded firmware will be released marginally faster than branded firmware.

Hi folks,
I'm sure this is a really stupid question but I can't work out how to turn the speakerphone off once I've put a call onto it.
I'm using a 3 UK branded handset running 029 firmware.

As the call rings you get the 'SpkrOn' option on the right-hand soft key.
Pressing this answers the call on speakerphone.
During the call, the right softkey gives a 'Sound' option, and clicking this gives a greyed out 'speakerphone on' option, and an option to change to a video call. But no 'turn off speakerphone' option.

In the sound menu is an option "To phone". select this and it returns the sound to the handset.

I had mine die. For a while I resorted to removing the battery to get them back on but that became less reliable so I sent it for a repair. I had it loaded with unbranded firmware, even though my phone was branded voda, so I tried to put the voda firmware back on so as to not raise any warranty issues and the phone died completely. It wouldn't even turn on. They took it anyway and got the thing working again citing corrupt frmware as the cause of all the problems. Not had a problem with the touch buttons since.

off topic: I'm getting a viewty on Friday yay!

OK, so I'm a dumbass. It says "to videophone" not video call.

Ok, next question

I know there are differences in phone speed due to the size of memory card. But what is the optimal size for speed?
