probably but I have no knowledge or experience in that yet as I've been happy to be just an iphone user

I guess I'll have to suck it and see and deal with whatever happens 'coz its obviously no good as it is now

all is well. I did the "Erase all content and settings" and it left installer and all the apps I had installed. Strangely it also left my wifi settings but everything else seems to be reset including the desktop layout, email accounts etc etc

All my content is resynching now so I'm happy

I bought a case from CPW but quite frankly i don't bother with it, as i like my phones to be on show, have learnt a harsh lesson though as i dropped it in a pizza shop the other week. It's got a few marks here and there but i'll be upgrading soon anyway. Just to say it really is a tough phone nothing happened to it at all it didn't switch off or anything.

My iPhone is rather battered now, bring on the next one, looking forward to the applications store not long to go now, that'll really unleash the power of it, oodles of stuff to get on it.

Nice. I hope one of the tweaks is to allow video capture.

you should definitly NOT use itunes to update your firmware on an unlocked phone if you want it to stay that way
