@plankgatan:
I'll post samples once I get the phone. I hope to have the phone in about a week.
@sekser:
I've also read mixed opinions about the general quality of the 902 but it's the camera I want. Interesting fact: the dimensions of the 902 are identical to the K850's. Both of these fit in my old K750 case. (The K750 will be inherited by my daughter next week on her birthday. The phone is in mint condition.)

1st we have people complaining: bye bye SE, i'm getting an N95
now, the trend is to go for an 902 stupid something..
what's next?
how about we fill this thread with information about the k850, answering questions, and clarifying things, wouldn't be much more convenient ?

Sorry for loading this thread with unnecessary stuff. But I did mention some information about the K850 in my previous post.

I dont think its that irrelevant to talk about competitive products in the market. The 902's camera functionality mirrors that of the 850i, at least on this cursory level.
Abu, do you mind if we ask how much the 902 was? Just in terms of understanding price points in the market... |

I thought it was the socket for some sort of aerial/headset.
Looking at my P990i and my T610, they both have 'holes' in the same place and on the T610 there is a headset symbol next to that one.
no, the t610 has the headset symbol there, cause you have to plugin the headset on that side of the fast port.(and charger on another) |

should we open a different thread for i-mobile 902 cam vs k850?
make sure that u put i-mobile in the title, otherwise people will be bumping around with sharp 902, and the entire NTT DoCoMo 902i/S series |

In white papers is written that K850 has Media Player 3.0 - maybe they meant civil non-walkman player...
According to doc from Developer World K850 is not supporting Flash Lite I hope they will update it soon cause for me such situation is a crime! |

all what i know is that Java platform 8 is the newest introduction from sunmicro system. and tbh, these days i don't the time to research about it. i have couple of questions spanning my head:
-what are the basic benefits of JP8 ?
-what type of applications can be introduced?
-thank to this platform, can a security program exist? does this platform offer the possibility to write an application that can password protect the file manager (as an example)
-if all the answers to the aforementioned questions were positive. to what extent does this platform push a phone like k850 toward the level of smartphones ??
thanks in advance |

maybe we should wait until there are some actual non-prototype photos from the 850i before we begin comparing it |

They also wrote that it has Net Front 3.3 and in the white papres they wrote that it has version 3.4...
It's a big mess with specs
