My memory may be not be perfect but I think most of the M600 and P990 upgrades for the SIM phones have been available on Monday AM...so I'll be checking at GMT 0815 on 9 Oct and 16 Oct!

Depends on your internet connection speed. The file is big. |

R9A? I thought the current version is R7A. WOnt R8 come before R9?
BTW my speaker phone and camera still hang (using R7A, R4F, R3B, R3B) any ideas?

usually it seems that they skip an update.. had r5 before updated to r7.. so i think the next one will be r9.. also there is some rumours in other forums indicating it will be called r9..

They can call it whatever they want. I'm only interested what it will fix. |

on a german forum, one dude says that a insider told him that theyre testing it now but it still can last a couple of weeks before its released on seus.. further he says the new firmware is very very stable..

Upgraded the firmware of my P990i following instructions on the SEUS software. Then, when the software went back to the start screen, I removed my phone and try turning it on, the screen just flashed non stop.Wat did I do wrong? Please help. Thanks! |

@cm3bckyt
do the following on your PC:
1. Delete the SE COM ports from Control Panel>Hardware>devices etc
2. Delete the most recent P990 firmware files from Program Files>Sony Ericsson>Update Service>db>137????>blob_fs
3. Reboot your PC
4. Try the SEUS update again
You may need to reflash a few times. If this fails you need to return your phone to the SE Service Centre
