With a different theme from the default one, Odgps don't start to update even the altitude. Less memory u use -no clock, no background, no screensaver- better the application work. Even like this it stops updating speed and altitude and it hangs. If u try to quit it hangs and bluetooth crashes.
I don't know if this is only a personal issue, since I don't know someone using odgps and a bt dongle. That's why I opened a thread some days ago.

Yakko, I had a very similar problem with:
K750 (1 yr old firmware!),
Holux GR-230 BT dongle (perfectly working with my Palm T3)
odgps, gpswatch, mobitrack, jawatech
For all those apps, the BT connection with GPS worked a few seconds, just the time to get the data once or two. Then no link. I had to restart the app to get updated data.
I tried your advice on using a default SE theme but with no improvements, then, by pure chance, found the solution: DO NOT ACTIVATE THE SCREENSAVER.
Since then, all the above programs plus J2MEmap and Mgmaps can keep up the connection to the GPS receiver.
Now I have to try and see if it is possible to have both BT GPS and BT headset connected at the same time...

Thank you for the advice.
I never used screensaver. Read my previous posts if u want. I found the problem in SE developers forum.
The solution is to try as many gps dongle till u find the one compatible with your headset.

Hello i am new here and i am new to this whole flashing\\updating thing so i have some noobs types of question and a problem. I have an unbranded k750i (i understood that a branded a phone is the one customized and synced to a certain operator Vodafone, Orange etc wich is not the case with my phone).
To cut to the chase, i purshased recently a san disk 512 mb memo stick pro duo. I tried to put my music on it and it worked fine untill i noticed that certain things (ringtones, themes, pics, mp3's) dissappeared from the stick when i added my music. Also some mp3 were placed inside some others Example: When you play Coldplay - Yellow you hear a part of Coldplay - Clocks etc or simply the file dissapear.
Easier Explenation:
I have Coldplay - Clocks on the Stick (Mp3 folder via copy and paste) and Yellow on the Computer.
I add yellow on the stick and one of these things happen:
1.Yellow isnt there but when you play clocks or any other song on the stick you could hear it.
2.Something get deleted from the stick wether its a pic or a ringtone or a theme and still yellow isnt there.
3.Yellow is there and everything is fine (it happens 50% of the time but most of the other times stupid stuff like what i posted above happens)
I am sick as i want a fast reliable way to add my music without errors and problems so i decided to update my phone as its running a R1N035 and i think a newer firmware could be the cure.
My questions:
Have anyone else encountered this problem before? if yes how do i solve it?
If i want to update my firmware to the latest version do i have to install all the updates since that version or just the latest one?

For the firmware update I still haven't tried it. Just have the phone for few weeks and started playing only a little... trying not to kill it! 
Anyway you should have the latest Macromedia Flash player and remove as much applications as possible from those I can see you have running (in the taskbar).
For the memory problem there are lots of threads discussing a bug which causes corruption of data when you load them in the MS using the USB cable.
It should have been solved in the latest firmare versions. Just look around the forum.
Have you tried a MS card reader? I've a 2GB MS and loaded it to the max with music and some free java apps. Using the card reader. No problems.
Never tried the cable, as usually I found card readers are faster.

now i know that these corruption in data will go with the new firmware even though i couldent locate its thread. But the important question is: Do i have just to install the latest firmware or all the firmwares untill the last one? |

Gobbo (Del Piero  ), you just have to run SEUS. It'll do all. Anyway, to answer to your question, you just have to update with the last firmware, no need for the old ones.

Thanks alot, after god knows how many times of installing\uninstalling SEUS and god knows how many times of trying to flash it finnally worked after i chose french. Now its updated to R1CA021 but the camera is still at 4.5 wich is weird. But the phone is much better and no more corrupt mp3's!! thanks anyway Romanista.

Is it true that SE have discontinued releasing k750i firmware updates, and that R1CA021 is going to be the last? Does this mean there is a limit of the size of mspd we can use, or will they updat when they release a new ms? Thanks, and sorry if this has been asked already... |

Del Piero, you're lucky with yours.
I've tried SEUS on its own > "no updates available";
SEUX + W800.EXE (any CDA), SEUS loads the appropriate firmware and systematically quits to the START / EXIT screen after 30 secs.
I've tried flashing with Davinci 13.7 and I get an error writing the first block.
Looks like i'm stuck on R1N035 with UK orange branding  (
can anyone help ?

New firmware for K750i released On WOTANSERVER R1DB001 But is only released for FR_1. Is on SEUS too. Guys with FR_1 pls try.
Has anyone try it?

I guess I will not pay for the firmware as we can do it for free we can wait for it to be releaded in top sony.I am using R1BD001 for w800 cant find any such changes in that atleast dont know about k750 |

i have no ideal...i sold off my K750i for W810i already ....... u guys out there with fr_1 pls do try and let us know.
@tosinv the new firmware is R1DB001 not R1BD001. WOTANSEVER released for RED36 and RED49. And for ppl who have CID49 i dont think they can flash for free with topsony rite?
But too bad is for FR_1 at the moment.
