not tumor but some worm.

well i put it as a device for idiot. sorry if any esatoian using it.

This is because I saw a guy holding a 6600 with a jabra headset in Bukit Jambul just one month ago. HE point his 6600's infar red port to a TV trying to control the TV (Owned by a electronic shop).

BUT I wonder he got the TV remote program in or he never check whether the software support that TV or not. Ends up he make a fool out of himself and everyone is laughing, and YES HE have tht ugly Jabra headset on his ear while doing this.

Anyway Gil, no worries lah, AH Beng know what is bluetooth thru the manual only. IF they are knowledgable, they will not question each other whether your PDA have bluetooth or not as a gadget freak will not which product come with bluetooth and which isn't.

BTW I realise in KL some people will on their bluetooth function even though they are not using the headset. Good to bluejack where else in Penang, you can only do this at Gurney Plaza a place where all the pretty chics will gather.

Jabra BT headset is really ugly (again sorry to fellow users). But I think the good point is that it can enable non-BT handsets to be able to use BT headset as well.

@ gil,

i have no chance in trying out jabra bt. best in comfort.... well according to micheal (that mobileburn guy) it pretty much depends on how your ear is shaped like. that thing is huge, man! if u ask me. maybe not for us small eared asian la. .

good sound quality... of course la cuz they design the 'ear gel' as such that it sticks right inside the ear canal so it'll be like pekak sebelah if were to wear the whole day. it doesn't have good bt range though it seems.... unless i'm very much mistaken. still hbh 60/65 ranks the top. btw any jabra bt users here? (BT200/BT250) lets here it from u.

@ soichiro,

I'm a Jabra BT200 user. (to my knowledge, the BT250 isn't available here yet.. wish it was though)

I tested both the SE HBH-65 and Motorola HS-810 when I was checkin out the phone at the shop. Put my SIM card in and made a few calls using both the headsets. Voice quality on both were very good (as if you had the phone to your ear) but the SE was a little bit clearer... I think. Also, I think I raised the volume to full on both just to have a bit of a standard there.

The reason why I didn't decide on either the SE or the Moto before tryin out the Jabra was that comfort factor wasn't so great. I found both headsets quite fiddly and kinda hard to put on my ear... even with both hands. The Jabra, to be fair was quite fiddly at first but I could put it on reasonably fast with both hands. The manual said that it could be put on with one hand and gave instructions as to how to manage such a feat. After some experimentation, using one hand is easy. Also, with the SE, I had to turn the hook AND rotate it to be able to fit it on the left ear. Same with the Moto except that I had to snap off the hook, turn it around and snap it back... even more troublesome than the SE. The Jabra requires just one thing, a 180 degree rotation of the ear gel and one-handed on the left ear... easy.

Before I continue, let me just make one thing clear. I love the SE BT headsets... ever since I saw the first one for the ericsson T28 (apologies if I got the wrong model). And the HBH-65 was EXACTLY what I wanted (because I love the small size), or so I thought when I was deciding to get a BT phone. Another important thing is that the little bob that sticks out from the HBH-65, supposedly to go into the ear a bit... doesn't! It sits just inside the outer ear lobe... which really disappointed me. Now, if SE had made the ear hook extendable a little, it would've been PERFECT! THEN, the little speaker bob would've been able to fit in the ear properly like the Jabra ear gel does.

As to being sebelah pekak coz of the ear gel, it's not so. I can still hear quite clearly out of the ear I'm using the headset on, albeit a bit muffled... but only a wee bit. Oh, and I don't find the Jabra too big at all.

Ok, I'll stop here as it's getting a bit long... If I've left anything else out, I'll amend this post later.

actually.. the little ear bob thing... it's suppose to be that way, reason i don't know. but it doesn't make any difference really if its in the ear or outer ear lobe. the sound quality is still the same. crisp and clear enough for me.

well..... its all up to self opinion really. anyways.. for me, both are good devices and has got good ratings from the users and reviews. to tell u the thruth, me too was tempted at first to get meself the BT200 for non bt phone for my previous Mot T720. but at that time, jabra was totally unheard of here, let alone BT200 (talking bout june/july 02). even their nearest agent for this region was in s'pore and at that time it was going for like S$350+... so that 'll be bout rm700+, which is a bit expensive for a bt headset during that period. since then i've decided to get meself a bt phone and now i'm a proud owner of T610 and hbh-60.

oh yea btw, the first bt phone was ericsson t36.

@ soichiro,

oh well, whatever the reason is... i decided not to get the HBH-60 coz of the position of the little ear bob... but if i wasn't so fussy, I'd have got it in a flash

hmm.. do you know what year the t36 came out?! coz the first ericsson BT(or maybe wireless??) headset i'm thinkin of is the one where you had a square something to plug into the bottom of the ericsson phone and the headset itself was a mutha of a thing... quite big.. hehehe...

i don't know why but t28 keeps popping into my mind... plus, i was in melbourne at the time...
