I agree that this is a bug, but it is really a bug that affects developers and not really end users. My firmware overview is intended to point out flaws in the usability of the device for the end user and not issues that affect the developer. |

Why am I on R1AA041 still i am on Orange UK and it says I have the latest software already.
But I look on your website and it says differently..

It effect the end user that wants to use a gps mouse. I changed two gps mouses. It's a waste of money.
Assuming it as a bug for developers (which is not only) it could be written a list of incompatibility for w800 (and not only).
IMHO it could be perfect for any bt device.

Hi guys,
I found here many interesting things. Now I have a question:
I put the firmware R1BC002/EMEA4 and customization for EMEA4
I tried to update via SUSE but is telling me that I have already the latest firmw and press continue anyway..10 minutes updating and finally is R1BC002 - the same.
I think that update for emea4 is not ready. But which should I use ? |

can any1 help me... lately when i'm pressing my menu key (the one between the right and left action key) it doesnt go to the menu (recent events, notes and the other one) but when i check it in the service test at keyboard the button works?? what seems to be the problem here???
is it broken?? because i dropped it....  |

Really need help here.
My w800i is driving me nuts.
Transfering MP3 thru disc2phone to w800i is a mystery. Even when it shows all the songs have been tranferred successfully, the minute I pull out the USB cable, only a few songs are being transferred. And I keep losing all my pictures everytime I remove the MSPD out of the phone and put it back. The files are there but the pictures seems to be corrupted and cannot be viewed. I have been reading many threads on forums (took me hrs and hrs) and it seems like the firmware I have R1N035 has a bug.
As per advice, I tried to upgrade trough SEUS, followed each and every steps, but it keeps telling me I have the latest software which I know is not true. Can anyone help me out? Need quite specific steps as still a noob.

Customization
CDA102338/36 R5A

I don't think anyone here knows for sure if there will be another firmware update.
I suspect that unless the phone needs to support additional third party or internal hardware there will be little chance of another firmware upgrade. The current firmware is very stable and pretty much problem free. |

am facing the same problem but my firmware is diff!! anyways..
i wanted to update my firmware but i am not able to do it...how? because when it says press and hold the 'C' button ders nothing dat comes on screen or not even on the phone...so..!!! m stuck over der |

You need to install both usb and flash drivers as described on SE pages.
The battery as to be fully charged and the headset off.
You start SEUS, press C and link the usb cable to the pc.
After few seconds the phone is detected.
There is no other way to use SEUS. If u experience problems read this thread using "search option". To search only this threadm: bookmark the thread, then choose bookmark only" in search page.
