So I got my memory card....on the day that i forgot my jolly link cable...so now i cannot make it full of music as I intended to do today...darn...

I am going to get myself a memory card reader as I know it would be faster to copy stuff from the pc via the memory card reader...Already moved all my photos to the card...

So I now have the dream combo i wanted...and it is good:-)
...
..
.
I don't have anything to look forward to now...I feel so depressed...

Taken with the ol' VGA-equipped P900:

A delightful cellphone 'holder' in the shape of the 'Predator', purchased at one of London's more obscure markets. Made almost entirely of old car and motorcycle engine parts.
Note the spark plugs, sprocket, camchain links for the Predator's dreadlocks, solenoid, piston journals for the femurs, valve springs for the tendons etc:

This'll stay amongst my other warped goodies in my study...not the most romantic contraption for a quaint downstairs lounge as such...

There's a whole range of these in Alien and Terminator styles as well, and in different sizes.
They purposely make each one unique, slightly different from the next, whether it be the stance, weaponry etc.

This morning I'm absolutely knackered, went to a awesome concert last night and then headed for Somerset Rd to continue the party...check this Wendy Oldfied, Robin Auld, Neo Muyanga, The Louis Mhlanga Band and Arno Carstens all sharing the stage with an African choir- that's magic.
They performed some of their best/well-known backed by the choir and although it seemed a daunting feat it came off perfectly. I particularly liked Muyanga's interaction with the the Joy of Africa Choir.

What ever happened to Ms. Makeba's ex, the legendary jazz/funk n' mqabanga muso and activist Hugh Masekela?
Is he still performing?

Nah wanqa, don't feel too bad. Many of the peeps who live in Camps Bay and on the Atlantic Seaboard in general are posers and wannabes.

That was more a referral to the view than actually living there, I guess I should've been more specific.

Honestly, I would not feel comfortable living amongst any super-rich stereotypes. Many posers and wannabes living in such 'exec's wet dream places' are for a start so darn insecure and shallow that many try to out-do each other with the latest toys and accessories...and the kudos for saying, "oh, we have a place in Camps Bay" in 'exclusive' circles.
Gee, that almost sounds like a jealous undertone, but I've grown up in surroundings and community that have worked damn hard to make ends meet, sincere and more salt-of-the-earth types in the not-very-high-flying parts of East London... these are more my people..less 'masks' and ulterior motives...

I'd rather live in a far less high-flying seaside 'burb, with people who didn't focus on outdoing each other with a wealth-driven air of snootiness.
