The trend with other manufacturers is to hold dedicated events.
Sony was alone with a new phone at CES ant there was no big thing at MWC. |

Sammy and Apple do it solo. If Kaz would be confident enough or if the One Sony phone would really be the beast, they should hold a solo event.

I feel that used to be the case and most companies do their own events now.

MWC was rather lackluster this year, I am seriously hoping for a better IFA which I am planning on attending if all goes well. |

Well, when did Sony had his own press release and announced a new phone that was really high end and nog announced before?

Only big exhibitions coming up are in June, Computex and E3 I think, the rest are after September... |

Xperia Acro S was launched in Russia with its press event, same for Neo L, in China. Xperia Tipo and Miro was by a Facebook competition and a press release. The nearest possible event is Communicasia during June 2013. Sony announced Xperia Active, Ray and txt there during 2011 in Singapore. |
