Yes it is possible with the set-profile in my driver. But this method will only applied for CID49. Btw, if anyone tried with raiderski max-min-avr files size at 95% and it works perfect then tell me so that I will put it in the next version. Thank you.

If you say that u can sort that sharpness problem, can u add that in ur next driver, for CID 49 Phones.

Guys, what do you think about this picture:

The flower is yellow outside and white inside. The qustion is: Do u think it the flower is yellowish. Taken with A4A-8.0CT2 on CID49. I changed the sharpness to 0c. However, sharpness 0c is good for close range but blur at long range whereas 5 is suitable. Hope you can consider these factors.

Is it possible to write a code in cam driver to set the shaprness to oc for close shots (More technically macro mode on) and to set the sharpness to 05 for long shots (More technically macro mode off).

@ lpachuong

the picture quality of A4A_7.8 driver in normal mode is superb in my cid36.... but in fine mode... it is really long shutter time.. as well as my hands are shake sensitive .... lol

and supermode driver function is really hard to remember... for me..

therefore i doesn't use its functions.,.. therefore can u make same quality and frame rate... simple cam driver like sarmad functions... em,enm, and manual focus.. thats enough.... thanks...

and 1 more thing u driver frame rate are really awesome can u tell that line... which we can replace in any other driver to get that.. super frame rate...

plz make 1 driver same as sarmad but quality of urs... for simple and... normal users...plz..

thats request from normal users... when we want get instant shots... it is really hard to get one specific.. function of super cam...

thanks in advance..

@ lpachuong

I'm using your 7.8 driver and have modded it for the color balance SET(21,16) to SET(21,f6) which has improved things on my w800i R1BC002 CID36. I have also reduced the contrast to 00 and the saturation to 01 and left the sharpness at 06. Things are working well, thanks to you.

I noticed however that before I changed the yellow/blue balance, when I selected Scene 1.2 (Landscape), the color balance was much better. I cannot find in the driver where the settings are for the Scenes so I could maybe adjust the WB_SET for all colors.

Could you advise please.

Thanks for all your excellent work,
Brian.

men! i got lost in this filtering cr@p
i had it only for night mode but now in 6.5.2 i have it also in EM and ENM
manual focus preview is without filtering (you know why)
without filtering is also normal mode - let users decide what they want. in my opinion we can't say: details = noise

Hi wayne_rooney. Your name is specail to me About the question of normal mode and fine mode, the reason why u find it is faster in normal mode is bcz EM is off whereas EM is on in finemode. EM is a method used to make the shutterspeed work more slowly to get more light into the censor. It also helps reduce noise. The disadvatage of EM is that indoor pictures usually get overexposure and be blur. However, I have set up a new profile called Indoor Profile in my a4a-8.0ct2. (EV +2.0, zoom 1.1). This will help to reduce overexposure problem when u take pictures indoor. Before u use it, please try with default setting first then try with it to see its effect.

and supermode driver function is really hard to remember... for me..

Actually I have tried to make the supermode on my driver be easy to remember. On the minus value, you will have effect about colours/iso/zoom which are not obvious when u change the zoom value and they are not very useful for normal users so u dont need to remember these. On the other hand, + value will be useful for my driver. As I said about overexposure, at EV +0.3 you can reduce overexposure by changing the zoom value. EV +0.7 is for spot on which is also useful and used popularly in the new cameras. +1.0 for shutter speed, u dont need to remember this as it is also be used for certain purpuse. EV +2.0 has new settings which is created by Raiderski and developed by me. At zoom 1.1, U will get pictures at ISO about 400-500 which is good for indoor pictures, zoom 1.2 - 1.4 has different colours combination for different situation (for example: if u see the pictures get yellowish, u can choose zoom 1.3 or if the pictures get blueish, choose zoom 1.2...)

Hope these are useful for you.

@Raiderski: what is the biggest of pictures can you get on ur CID36? And which CCC do u mean? I haven't used my CCC for a long time and I forgot to delete it. It is passive.

super frame rate...

this "super frame rate" has major disadvantage but nevermind...

lpachuong
naah, forget, my fault

BTW:
we should update our white balance dictionary: green-magenta... wrong! cyan-red... good!

@Raider
Sorry if you did't understand my expressions... What I wanted to say is:
- filtering off only during manual sharpening (crop)
- filtering on for all other cases (even in no-night mode) during saving picture.
I think, that it is simple:

seq_set_prop_a_2=$c7 00
#CMD(42,00)
$cl
$c7 02 $cl
$c8 01
#CMD(61,#MANUAL_MACRO_ZOOM)
#CMD(08,01)
#CMD(5B,01) // switch it on here
$cl
etc...

TAKE_SHOT=#E_E_F
$c6 01
#SET(20,fd)
#SET(21,f6)
#CMD(13,01)
#CMD(5B,00) // switch it off here
$cx
etc...

Is it correct?

It could be a new possibility in config tool, what do you think?

To all:
What is your opinion about noise/details when filtering is off? Do you have rather noisy pictures or rather more detailed? Try to make some investigation.

- filtering off only during manual sharpening (crop)

you mean during manual focus when image on viewfinder is x4 right?
if yes then i already have this solution (normal view = filtering, x4 = no filtering). status of filtering enabled by this manual focus preview is not important because before snapshot i'm checking "global" rules for filtering:
6.5.1 - night mode = filtering, no-night mode = no filtering
6.5.2 - EM, ENM, night mode = filtering, normal mode = no filtering

- filtering on for all other cases (even in no-night mode) during saving picture.

i don't get it... if someone don't like unfiltered images then he just will enable filtering in tool, i don't see any problems

the only problem is that i badly named "Image filtering" options. i'm finishing v0.3 of this tool with good names

seq_set_prop_a_2=$c7 00
#CMD(42,00)
$cl
$c7 02 $cl
$c8 01
#CMD(61,#MANUAL_MACRO_ZOOM)
#CMD(08,01)
#CMD(5B,01) // switch it on here
$cl
etc...

TAKE_SHOT=#E_E_F
$c6 01
#SET(20,fd)
#SET(21,f6)
#CMD(13,01)
#CMD(5B,00) // switch it off here
$cx
etc...

Is it correct?

all i can see above is:
1. disable filtering if manual focus preview x4 is activated
2. enable filtering before snapshot (only if Fine quality is enabled ($c6 01))

in code which you posted in PM i don't see one important thing in seq_set_prop_a_2 - you're not enabling filtering after deactivation of manual focus preview x4

@Raider

Thanks! So if I understand, then:

seq_set_prop_a_2=$c7 00
#CMD(42,00)
$cl
$c7 02 $cl
$c8 01
#CMD(61,#MANUAL_MACRO_ZOOM)
#CMD(08,01)
#CMD(5B,01) // disable for focusing
$cl
#CMD(61,00)
#CMD(08,00)
#CMD(5B,00) // enable for snapshot
$cx
$cx
$cx
#UNLOCK_AE_WB;

This should be enough for enable filtering, because before snapshot crop is deactivated, yes?
