@JN So what? I'm using se T68i for example. Afaik Boba's using 3G and as you know there are not so many eris for 3G. And that blokia could be a working phone. That's not so important which phone u use, important is that, what we're doing here, imo. (But as for me, i prefer se rather than blokia)

@boba - What 'bad rec' 'receiver' or what It's a nice one having a BT/gprs etc. Did not last long though in my hands, just 2 weeks I guess, sold to a fellow-Filipino member: Mitz501. Having my Motorola V60i (metal casing and all), I guess this is much better - IMHO !

I thought receiving bugs have T29//R320 with their mexican transceivers. Didn't know that T39 and T66 have that illness.

Only a very few cases had been known to have reception problems for the T39m & R520m (duo transceivers), even A2618 & A3618 (single tranceivers) do not have much reception problems.
As far as experience is concerned, the models such as the T20,T28,T29,R320 (which all have the same mexican made transceivers) & so goes with the T66 & T600 which had been always seen to either have (no network or no access).
So goes that the old "Hitachi" made tranceivers found in the A1018s, GA628, T10s & T18s are far more stable & durable than that of its later mexican made ones, which in my opinion was one of the main problems for ///'s reception flaws
Although, surprisingly, the T68m (which also had this mexican transceiver) did not suffer the same reputation as those of the earlier /// models which had them, i guess its the FW that made a difference in it

I've created a thread elsewhere, but thought I'd ask this question here also in case any of you /// enthusiasts can help!
I've just recieved a T20 as part of a job lot of old Ericssons. The phone when I recieved it powered on but had a lock code on it. I used SEMCtool 2.2 to clear the lock code, but now the phone doesn't power on!
When I press the power button, the green service light comes on and stays on and the phone refuses to power up. When put back into the Syncstation and hooked up to SEMCtool, it will still recognise the phone and do things like read all codes. The codes though look corrupted, with funny characters and letters in them.
Does the phone need a reflash? If not, what is wrong with the phone and how do I fix it? If it needs a reflash, I belive I can do it from SEMCtool? I need a flash file though, has anyone got a T20 flash file - preferably a Tomb Raider one, as the phone appears to have the Tomb Raider firmware on it (got a TR shutdown screen on it).
Thanks!
