Sorry Laykay, you can't upgrade your firmware because Sendo is dead and buried.

Don't be too sure. Wait until you have a specific need and SE has no phone that meets it. Like me, you will probably go for something else.
I haven't used an SE in about 2 years, and I haven't missed anything.
But the K750 is a good phone, and I guess it meets your present needs. So be happy!

@Aya: I take it that ur firmware upgrade was successful. any significant changes?
you seem to 4get that u are one in 100,000 people. how many people actually use their phones the way u use yours? 4 life. there's an SE phone 4 everyone. as far as I'm concerned, there are only 4 nokia phones 3310, series 40, series 60 & series 80 |

@AYA: Haba AY!!! The way you talk is as if if you pick any Nokia phone it will solve any telephony need you have. You infer that in most of your posts. An SE on Average is better than a Nokia on average. If you have special needs (game play, symbian progs, music, photos etc) then look for the particular phone that gives the best bang for the buck. But chances are it'll be an SE!!!!!
@amby: be careful if you are buying a duo. on my last trip to lag i bought a duo, made the mistake of not testing it till i got to abuja just to see it didnt work. while browsing to see what might be wrong i got to a site that confirmed that it was a fake. it had pixs and discriptions that showed tattletale features of the fakes.

@Abu... thanks for that advice. I was thinking about getting a 1gb ms duo pro.
I think we have to very careful in this country. Sometimes i wonder if i am not a fake nigerian

yipee! Mtel is back on!
@pxth: i almost fell laughing at your last comment. it was a 128mb (the highest my ancient s700i can take) that i got just to be disappointed. and you cant tell from the packaging at all. i wish i kept the url me that site but i guess it can be googled.

@abu: you apparently got my drift wrong. No; I do not think that a Nokia meets every need. But for the past one and a half years or so, only Nokia has produced phones that meet my needs.
If SE would do a proper QWERTY device, I'd have a go without thinking twice. Unfortunately, as you can see... Ambyzown's post suggests that he understood my comments better.
More seriously, SE seems to shoot themselves in the foot in a few areas: EDGE and Wi-fi on their phones. These deficiencies were part of the reasons why I chose the E61 over the M600i. And then that wierd keyboard!
