There is no error message it's just that the hd only now reads 8megs when set as a slave.
I've tried to delete the partition (primary dos i think) but it wont let me as "disk is not locked"

I took in in 2 weeks ago, it was nicked earlier this week, they're not gonna sort it for another week!

Ed: have u tried swapping the disks around and seeing what happens when u try to boot from the corrupted disk?

depends if you want to carry a pda sized phone with you all day.
personally, i'm a real computer numnuts, so i'm not sure if it would be for me.
