Anyone know how I can disable the dim LED light when recording videos?

My Photo-Light is turned OFF in both camera and video mode but the LED light opens dimly when I start recording.

Or is there other video apps that I can use that doesn't do that?

Cheers

@dissociative

the led lits up only for one reason that i know, that is to make you not be able to film someone with out them knowing.

the light has no other purpose, that is my guess.

and i guess that is what you want... you sneaky snake!!

@SKIBBE

Yeah seems like it! I didn't really notice that it turns on when I was testing out the phone when I got it the first time.

Oh well! Not so sneaky then!

Dell Streak was the only device with X10 running 1.6 and it was suppose to get 2.1 update but here is a good suprise for Dell users.

Dell: Streak likely going straight to Froyo in US

I have a similar clack widget called sense analogue, it doesn't have the weather but I assume your x10 connects to the internet for that option.

are you still using beautiful widgets? if so what version? i downloaded this from the market. and a while back it had a huge ammount of updates all at once. and after those updates it totally messed with my phone.. first it wouldn't show the correct time on the widget. so i removed the widget and replaced it with the original WIDGET. and it was off too! i was very frustrated by this and completely uninstalled the beautiful widget and immediately my worked just fine again.. i haven't bothered to re-install it. but it was one of my fav looking widgets so far. be nice if they could get it working correctly again... i miss it lol

p.s. i hear ya on the USA exclusive x10 we are no longer like the only two lol .. probably the only two with white ones tho!
