im still happy with getting eclair soon and hopefully froyo q1 2011.f@#k gingerbread.it aint gonna ruin my x10 experience.i love my x10 and its running android donut.says a lot for this phone.

Before today the only X10 I'd hed and played with was mine which is white. Today arrived 5 black X10s on my desk. I must say I was surprised by them. They're nice in black. But after spending all day in poses on my desk with a bed of X10s I still prefer the white.

You spend good, hard earned money on a phone and you want it to look at least a bit exclusive, so when you pull your phone out of your pocket, thinking your dead cool and all that, the last thing you want to see is five other buggers with exactly the same phone.

SO TRUE goldenface. I was hoping AT&T would never pick up the X10 so that I would feel more exclusive by having my white X10. Now, I won't feel as special anymore. BUT.. the only saving grace is I am in America and most people would rather follow the hype and get an iphone4 than an X10 running donut. Apparently the AT&T version will not have any upgrades in place (afaik) and only comes with a 2GB SD card. I'm not even sure they offer white. Let's hope they don't ha!
On the flip side, I hope it is a success so that SE makes money and can produce even better devices in the future.

SE have stated that all their Android devices would be upgradeable to Froyo. Look at it this way. The X8 shall ship with 2.1. So wont it get an update? If it does, the next update has to be Froyo. If the X8 gets it, i see no reason to believe why the others wont. |

Froyo is 2.2, not 2.1.

I've been really trying hard to find some news on how good 2.1 is working on X10. Like from XDA I came to know that in UK there are SE employees who are already using 2.1 on X10. Would love to know more about it rather than when is it coming.
If anybody gets some news, it would be really nice to share

I have been very frustrating with the low in-call volume on X10 and post the thread here and finally the guy from SE said they are listening and hopefully they are doing something about it ..............

Just got Sims 3 HD. I never thought mobile phone could play such brilliant graphics. It feels like a gaming device.
