Nope they are not worse what i wanted to say is there is not much difference between the old firmware pics and new firmware pics in general quality. Well as i am not a professional photographer i can't say if there is any real difference in the performance of the two firmware.
But there will be certainly a difference as its a new firmware something or the other should be new
My intention of keeping the pics here is for general consideration to every user and they them self can decide wether they do find any difference or not rather than saying it in words.

Cant do anything remotely to do with GPRS / WAP / internet / anything. Only GSM calls possible. Oh and the camera still works but video quality is v.poor.
R1A used to work with little bother - just hope SE allow us to downgrade to R1A because it was no bother on my handset.

Ive just discovered that video recording quality has greatly decreased in the new firmware
It now records at around 70kbit/s while before it recorded at around 200kbit/s
The video recording quality now are terrible.
I also find the camera quality to be slightly worse than before.
Not much but still a litle.

just noticed too that the vid quality has dropped in quality by a fair bit (im using a Voda silver K750i with the RJ1002 firmware) . more pixelated that before on the old firmware. the quality reminds me of my previous Nokia symbian based phones, ie. 7610 etc |

tried flashing mine again too, get the "no updates at this time" or something for my phone. basically won't let me flash the firmware i already have on the phone.
just have to wait for a fix. sad thing is that my phone worked fine before i used the new update (no idle freeze etc), video was great, now its fubar. |

Do you mean it won't start at all or do you get an error message.

the update service starts fine, but i get a "there is currently no services for devices belonging to your operator" message. basically means that i can't reflash the 002 firmware, and have to wait for a newer update. |

Then you probably didn't press c long enough (or firm enough), that is if you've been able to update before (thus everything is installed correctly).
i had this the first time i tried updating, i found it a little akward holding the phone, pressing c and plugging in the cable. Second try work like a charm though.
