oh and the link on the first page on pix taken from a k750, that's crappy sh#t! use a noiseware standard edition and you'll see from the EXIF that it was registered from a v800.. so try to check on the photo's detail registy to be sure they really were taken from a k750

How many more times does this have to be said !? the pictures are from the K750i, the EXIF registration only says the pictures were taken by a V800 because the K750 was using V800 firmware !

The V800 cannot capture 1632x1224 size images - so they couldnt have come from the V800.

Question ive been wondering, if the k750 is using the v800 firmware, will the actuall picture quality be differnt once on its on firmware?

@etaab

if that's so, then maybe the latest images that registered k750 came from the new firmware made for k750? hmm..

Well i for one am much more than impressed. The comparison didn't bother me cos i'm getting the k750 whatever the case. But the k750 pics are brilliant. Like someone said, if you scale down to 6x4 or 7x5 they look better so i took the liberty of getting them printed at jessops on 6x4. Myself and everyone i showed thought they looked indistinguishable from any other printed photos and when told they were from a phone they wanted one.

Yes, because the proper K750 firmware will process the images better than the V800's. Pictures taken with the K750 running V800 firmware will still be of better quality because of the K750's better camera hardware. Once the final K750 firmware is loaded onto phones upon its release we'll see how good the camera really is.

Yes, they will, but i very much doubt the K750 firmware used to take those pictures from a K750 will be the final release. More likely we would have more up to date firmware by the time the phone is released, rather than the one loaded into the K750 which took those pictures with the proper K750 EXIF headers.

Btw, you can see just how good a 1632x1224 image would be in 6"x4" or 7"x5" sized pictures by simply resizing them on your pc to 640x480 (6"x4") or 800x600 (7"x5").

From "threegmobile"

"W800i support off line mode. When you turn on the phone, you can choose to start the phone, or just activate the camera or media player only"

See pictures.
