when i try to use fma i get some problems:
1. when using "use serial port (if none of the above worked"
i use port 3 and it says connected ok, then connection loss..???
2. when using "use native bluetooth"
is says disconnected and i get "error 10047 in function connect (socket) adress family not supported by protocol family"
does anybody know how to get it to work
I use win xp and have T610... |

this is a great big shout out to float.
you are my hero-for-a-day.
i got a bluetooth card yesterday and spent an entire day off trying to get it to work. i could not make the ericsson software see the phone no matter what i tried. i have a re-badged ambicom and a t68i.
out of desperation i was trying random third party software and came accross your tremendous app. when all the rest had failed suddenly yours just WORKED!!! (i know now it's probably because you wrote it due to the same shoddy hardware i have.. hehe)
so.. not only is your app the only one i could get to work, but it does nearly EVERYTHING i wanted bluetooth for in the first place!
so again. a HUGE thanks for this app.
cheers,

Hi fMA fans!
To those of you who have successfully used fMA with their spanking new T610 phones, can you please post your
a) OS (98se, ME, w2k, XP)
b) fMA version
c) phone-to-PC connection (SE cable, modified service cable, BT, IrDA)
TIA
(I have a friend complaining that he can't make the fMA v.09.9 work with his phone, but know of someone who made it work with v.09.5, XP and T610)

@pixas
can you elaborate with what you mean by "works fine"? other users have reported that with the t610 and fMA, they don't get the new message pop-ups.
look at arnoldc's post

@grifone
sendfile depends on MPM, the fMA does not.
Check for the settings for the communications ports you used in fMA. It might be trying to use a non-existing or currently unavailable com port.

oops. didn't see arnoldc's post.
Well the phonebook sync works just fine. I'v got over 75 posts in my phonebook and they all sync just the way they are supposed to do.
But the incomming SMS is a no-go (didn't think that was implemented as there are no traces of such a feature).
On windows 98SE I get a errormessage on startup and the program exits. |
