Very nice looking phone gorgeous even. Doesn't seem to have a shutter key which will set some people crying. So Yuga is the one we will see at MWC and will be out before the end of Q1.
There IS a camera shutter key, look closely
Perfect!

Apropos leftover, @randomuser: I asked a similar question last month, but there was a grey area… So, are there any SE/non-100%-Sony phones left?
Thanks in advance, again !
No. Xperia T/TX are the last devices. J and V are transition devices, and Dogo onwards are SONY.

@randomuser, is there a chance that the announcement of Odin and Yuga be moved on CES 2013? |

If they do it true SONY way they will be available right after announcement or within a few weeks.
Since Sony does not have any history with cellphones we will have to wait and see what they do. |

I think we will see them at CES if they leak now.Hopefully it will be the same as this year, highend at CES and some mid-ends at MWC |

The design looks solid... It's really great... But the only problem is, useless bulky bezel... I don't know, why they even keep that wasted space... If they're giving physical buttons, that's okay... Since they're going with on-screen buttons, what's the use of that much bigger bezel... They're not even gonna label the name Xperia on it... Already XV's lost some screen space cos of the bezel... Now this... If they'd made it a bezel free one, it would've looked smaller & much more BEAUTIFUL... Does anyone here know if the final official model will come without bezel...???
@Randomuser... U were talkin abt some surprise... Could U give us a hint...??? A little hint, pls...
My guess is, this one looks fully closed... So does this mean it'll have waterproof...??? |

Wow, Yuga photos leak! So I guess the leaked photos from 1-2 weeks ago was actually the real Yuga and not a fake after all those fake Xperia phones recently. I like the design! However I'm a bit confused about the placement of the power and volume buttons. On the contrary to what randomuser said, I can't seem to find the camera shutter button (the power button looks like one actually and it could confuse people). Hopefully they will refine the design until release. |

I'm sure the bezel at the top and bottom are needed for the interior stuff, although the bezel is already quite a bit smaller than the HTC J Butterfly's bezel because of the lack of capacitative buttons. And plus with more room inside, they can add a bigger battery. |

One last post: is it just me or does the Yuga design look a bit similar to the Apple "Jony" concept design inspired by Sony's design ethos? Looks really quite close especially with the flat front and back and the oversized power button on the side (ala the Walkman and certain VAIO models). I have to give props to Apple's designers as they did their research well and know how Sony designs their products.

Are U sure that Xperia's bezel look smaller than HTC's...??? Cos it looked a bit bigger than that... So if that bezel's for some good cause like bigger battery, I've no problem with that... Thank U for the info...
PS : Still I feel, they could've placed capacitive buttons on the bezel jus not to leave it empty and to save some space on-screen... |
