That's what I call excellent product support! Even the good old Galaxy S still gets OS updates, not to mention Galaxy S2's JB! The other brands have to learn a lot from Samsung. I wish my Xperia Pro could get the same quality support... Sony, are you sleeping?

my wife went from a iphone to s3.she says she couldnt go back to iphone mainly because she loves the s3 but also because of the big screen.

Ultimately... Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean) Arrived On Brazil In My S III !!!
Improvements Perceptible:
* More Memory Ram: Before (775 MB)... Now (833 MB) !
* Better Performance Of Camera: Mainly At Night And Closed Environments
Out All The Other Improvements Native Of Jelly Bean !

Does anyone know how to stop sound and vibrate alerts for emails in the SIII?

For Gmail ?
Either turn off Synch in the drop down nightshade, or go to the Gmail app, press menu / settings / choose account and then scroll down to where it says Ringtone & vibrate.
You can turn it off in there. The email alerts are in the email apps themselves afaik rather than in the phones settings.

Not Gmail for Hotmail. But will try the hotmail apps settings as you suggested and see what happens?
