@Dimabr
its very easy, all you do is..
1. Go to the manual settings2 tab in the camera options
2. Click on the "AE Lock + Colour Filters" option.
3. Exit the settings screen
4. Raise the EV+- value to +0.7
5. Take amazing VHDR picture

Now do not forget that this is not just a simple point and shoot to get great results. You have to have just the right amount of lighting to produce the best results.
Some darker areas may produce noise (there is some noise in the lake in the HDR pic above), but witchking is already aware of this.

Sometimes you may even have to play with spot focusing to achieve this, but like witchking also said.. it will not work for every situation.. and neither does true HDR pictures either

good luck, and post some comparison pictures! i want to see other peoples results as well.. not just mine!

another comparison.. its truly remarkable how this mimics true HDR photos. while it may not be 100% perfect.. its close enough for me right now, until witchking has more time to perfect
Everyone here should so grateful to witchking, and offering him a donation if they can afford it to make sure witchking knows his efforts are appreciated, and that maybe he can continue his work on developing his C905 cam driver.

@NEO
I don't think you are understanding the concept of what HDR is really. (and i do apologize if i am mistaken. i am just trying to help)

The purpose of HDR is to be able to expose an entire scene for a situation where a camera lens cannot properly expose foreground and background due to different light exposures.

Your last comparison pictures do not really fit into this category.
As i stated earlier, not every scene will take advantage of this VHDR mode.. you have to have the right exposures

Thanks for all those shots, and for helping the people out jake20 Let me know what you feel about the saturation level and exposure in this mode, i want to get to the best settings and that needs feedback

I'm on a tour but i logged in to see how everything is going on here

Do try AutoLevel in PhotoDJ if an image is underexposed or lacks contrast, in case of clouds, it gives awesome results

@ vio_rel

You asked earlier about K850 drivers' development.

I do have a K850 and would like to try some new features again but the problem is that many modders copy parts of the code painfully made for Cybershot Xperience series which is unfair.

I'd still try it after a few weeks.
