what is the thing next to the fast port connector?? Not the strap holder... I mean the thing on the left side, when you look at the bottom with phone side up!
Question for testers: is there any shortcut for play/pause since the special button on the left side is gone...!?!

Mobile review posted yet another short review, and it says the K850 has a CMOS cam.
. . .

CMOS ????
That explains the sample photos earlier in this thread.

No way I will be looking at this phone again. Let's see where I can order an i-Mobile 902 . . .

I thought it was the socket for some sort of aerial/headset.

Looking at my P990i and my T610, they both have 'holes' in the same place and on the T610 there is a headset symbol next to that one.

The lens is probably glass or plastic It's ironic that i-mobile in Thailand uses a very good 5MP CCD camera in their phone 902. The camera in that phone is produced by Sony . . . (Source)

@plankgatan:
No contact with your friend with insider info on the phone? (CMOS/CCD query on the camera)

(until SE have confirm which lens it really is, its only speculations).

edit. the bottom av k850i is a very brilliant ide ! (no cracky sounds there. and also very easy to use). seems that Sonyericsson makes better and better ides for every year.

Here's a gallery from one user showing what Sony's 5MP CCD camera can do.

If you watch xumedos nice video of the K850 he says and also shows why the sample pictures are that bad.

@all its a proto, things change in release version... word was it was meant to have ccd, as some one said, eldar may just have an older proto still need to decide whether its going to be ccd or cmos in release version

at AbuBasim I bought a i-mobile 902 when it first was out, the camera is the best you will ever see on a phone but the phone itself is horrible mate, you might be a bit dissapointed with it but camera wise it is fantastic.
