can i just ask all of you with the w850i is it just me or do the left and right keys (-) seem loose?.....just want to check as i only got this phone early yesterday and if they are'nt suppose to be loose (by this i mean has some play) then its going back! lol..................awesome phone though

Here are a couple of the Orange bubbles flash theme. The main screen has the walkman playing which is the bar in the middle.
and
Trust me, my wife has a K800i and I upgraded from a W800i. This phone rocks compared to both of them. It's my first slider as well.
My phone doesn't seem to have any loose keys so it may be faulty. try and check the dummy phone in the shop to see if its the same.

did anyone get the free bluetooth handsfree headset with the phone by taking it out on contract from carphone warehouse? it makes the phone seem even better, although its all down to the bluetooth gizmo, the music is amazing quality using it and the mp3 id tag is really stylish!! Love the phone!! |

i do like the look of the phone and the features seem reasonable but i currently own a w900i and i dont see this as better in any way so if i did get this phone in january when my contract is up it wouldnt feel like i would be upgrading, more like sidegrading |

I agree with you 100%. The W850i has a lot of the same features, but has the addition of flash themes, walkman V2, screen sensor. Not really enough to updgrade to, not to mention it has a worse camera with no AF, smaller screen(same resolution), and poor video recording. There may be a couple of others I forgot, but still not worth it in my opinion. |

its dissapointing because this is usually the time of year i have my heart set on a new model ready for after xmas but this year i dont have that. I would have the w950i if it had a 2.0mp camera with af, but for sum strange reason they have decided to leave a camera off this model which makes no sense to me at all as that seems to be about one of the best selling points of a mobile phone these days.
Just hope the guys at sony ericsson realease a great model soon that i can look forward to.
Has anyone heard anythig in the pipeline like a w950i with a camear? haha |

had a go with w850i in cpw , and off to cpw today , checked out u-fix upgrades and its a black w850i for me , i dont want the white one as it had silver buttons on the top half , also the back of the black w850i the top sliding half was like a smooth chrome black finish and it was awesome , so a black w850i with 2gb card for xmas

Hi,
Just got my w850i, not sure if I like it yet. The main thing that's bugging me is how it doesn't lock when you close it unless it's on the desktop screen. Is their a fix for this or will it be like this forever?

I just received my W850i and I want to tell you that I'm starting to loving it...great phone with nice features!! Just have to get used to the navigation keys...but this phone ROCKS!!

How are the bubbles that colour on the desktop when the walkman is playing? Mine are orange and grey/faded pink, and the icons for the song playing are orange. So just wondering how you can change the colour. |

I did a test. Turn your volume all the way down. Everytime I increased the volume I got a different colour variation. Give it a go. |
