I have R4EK001 and the menu's seem a bit faster - Thus far it works perfectly well.. I'm staying on it. |

The BUG IS:
when playing song - at some time silence appears but playback goes on.
Switch to next track make walkman jump to next and next.
If to press Stop and then Play -- Walkman says -- "Cannot play file" (my SE interface language is russian, but the meaning is the same).
Reboot phone - playback works .... for 20-30 mins and then again. 
I'm now testing NERO AAC encoder and CD-DA extractor (which has codecs from Coding Technologies, which developed aacPlus)

I have this same problem. 99% of my AAC library was ripped via iTunes 6.x. My last 3 CDs came through 7.x. After about 30 minutes of AAC-7.x playback, the  app will just start skipping through tracks without playing them. If I stop and manually re-select a track ( any track, whether it came from 6.x or 7.x), responds with "Playback failed." If I try to play anything via the File Manager, I get "Cannot play this file." Only a phone reboot clears things up, until the problem reappears.
All this on the new FW R4GC010
Hey, I solved problems with AAC, i just refused from iTunes.
Now, as library I use MediaMonkey, and as AC encoder I use - Nero AAC encoder (freeware) |

@Hlcn Twst, I'm experiencing the same problem as you, on the same firmware version. It's not a serious problem, but it's pretty annoying I guess. I wonder if anyone else has the same problem, or if this problem is present in other firmware versions.

Hi there, mine W810i is using the R4EA031 firmware. The only problem that I'm having it’s that the cell phone is becoming a little bit slow. I received the cell phone with 8 games, 7 are demo :S. Also there’re other three applications in Chinese or Japanese. Then the cell phone works excellent!!!! No problems with mp3 player, RDS works with stations that provide the service, no problems about the camera (I need to have more time to test with different light conditions, macro, panorama, etc.) and there’re no problems with the flashlight. I’ll take the cell phone to a SE service to remove the demo games and the applications.
I’d like to know if you may recommend any update or bug with the software information below,

PS: I've found that I cannot silence the shutter sound on my camera and there's no Multi-character search at the contacts. I'd like to know what to do to turn the shutter sound off and activate the multi-character search.

For the multi-character search, ou have to use a deifferent area. Usually Honk Kong and China firmwares don't come with that option |

im use China version, Im able to do multi character on contact, Hong Kong that doesn't have multi character on contact.
