about that Xperia Dogo or Xperia A or C550X (whatever it's called) it's rumored to have ip58 which would mean unlimited time of water submergion. Imagine, you could use it for diving, surfing, etc.!
How is that even possible without having a completly sealed unit? I can only imagine it, if there are no ports, covers, flaps, holes or anything. No memory slot and certainly not a removable battery. If it is possible, it may be very thick and ugly looking and who would want that? People would rather go for a sexy look and ip57 like with Xperia Z.
This is a IP58 certified phone. Impossible? Already done! |

2.3ghz
cool..first flagship clock at full clock...2.3ghz..
xperia z and s can clock at 1.7ghz...but sony went for 1.5ghz at 1st...
s800 at full clock in water/dust resistant phone can produce a lot of heat...
S800 is built on a new HPM process rather than traditional LP. Also it will rarely run at 2.3 GHz, there arent many tasks that requires that much sustained processing power
The Adreno 330 GPU also uses a form of scalable clock frequency so we might actually see improved battery life even under load for games as an example
Also it charges 75% faster than S4 Pro with wall charger, so i will take that over wireless charging anyday

actually, IP58 is only "long term exposure to a specified pressure". It's unlikely you'd be able to dive with it. Possibly shallow depth diving/snorkeling but nothing fun..

Don't know if anyone has already answer this question, but I did see it a couple of times and all of them were ignored.
What about the Ray 3 and One Sony design?
will they follow the same line as the Z/ZL? Or since One Sony is like another "brand" it will have it's own iconical design?
When You speak about release, are you talking about being release to the public(like, avaiable at stores?) or just an announcement?
Many Thanks |

At least not from Sony. It seems they trying to follow Apple's pricins strategy, which personally I don't really like |
