sanj.. he's just referring to my other nick *LOL*
The reason I am thinking of upgrading is that R5B is supposed to have more stable reception. Reception with the Z600 fluctuates more compare to my T68i and my office has quite poor reception as is it.
Any idea how to improve on that? |

Actually all phones are like that lar... They have a higher refresh rate compared to other brands so the info is more "real time" lah. Unlike other phones which show a "stable" signal which is just tipu sahaja. U don't get disconnected or experience the breaking up of sound rite ? Then, u should leave it as it is
" If it ain't broke, don't fix it "

Sanj is right. The reception thingy very much depends on the telco too. The reception in Z600 is considered very stable... as u mentioned, just ur office area not all places. The stonger reception also indicates stronger radio frequency which later leads to another issue on brain tumor.. |

The Z600 RF is more stable than the P800 RF.

You cant get a tumor! You can get sleepless nights coz of a high frequent sound that is there and is not there at the same time. You know what i mean lah? |

do not always blame on phone that do all the mistake. sometimes might be others cause. firmware upgrade of R5B will not help u to get better reception for sure.

thanks for the feedback guys..
I've read about the refresh rate in SE phones. I am sure that my T68i had more stable reception in the same location. Or perhaps it was just the older software didn't refresh so fast.. |

kooili,
glad that u finally understand that. actually Z600 have better reception that T610.
p/s try not to direct touch on the back speaker area when u are using the phone. that's there the reception is. |

it has???? i'm not so sure about that man....i've got a fren using it and we use the same operator.....there were instances when we are at the same location and his reception is worst...he had to get the caller to call my line to continue the conversation.....fyi, the caller was calling from a fixed line and not from a mobile......hmmmm!!!

shithappens,
direct touch on the reception area will affect the quality of reception. try to ask ya friend not to direct contact at the area near the back speaker |
