lack of multi touch is such a handicap...x10 can be so good at gaming if it wasnt for lack of multitouch !!
any chances of sony just deceiving us about hardware and there will be multitouch when it updates to 2.1 or maybe 2.2 ! |

Hi, does this player work with X10?
http://androidforums.com/htc-[....]ort-here-rockplayerbase-2.html
It seems to play even .MKV files... has anyone given it a try?
I ask this, because this could be the application that helps me decide to get an X10, if it plays divx and .MKV files, I might be buying the device to use it as a video player and to browse the web from home...

Hi Lightspeed
It does indeed work on X10,i use that player to play all videos i throw in my X10 (mp4, flv, divx etc...), Rockplayer takes full advantage of the Snapdragon CPU, so video can be watched in incredibly high quality

Wow, thanks for the answer, Tsepz_GP... That pretty much settles it...
By the way, how much does it cost?

Its 9.99USD im using the free version,it has Google ads but they are hidden with the player keys when you tap to hide them, also the activation screen when you boot it,you simply press Back and you're in,so its all good if you cant buy it.

So you'll be getting rid of your W995? It seems that the X10 caught your eyes that time we saw it at Orange @ Mega Centro

Hi Tranced!, well, kind of... however, I like my W995 very much, maybe Ill just use the X10 as a PMP, since i dont think I will be able to text as fast and as accurately without a physical keyboard...
Anyway, I liked it very much back then, mainly the screen, so it might serve me as a PMP with internet access for those days when i dont want to boot up my laptop (Provided Orange sets it at an attractive price bracket, since in October i get to use my fidepoints )
How about you?... how is Eclair going?

Oh man X10 looks so promising on paper. But beware! Its SE and I wont forget how they messed up with Satio. My C702 has a better mediaplayer, no problems with high bitrates and 8gig memcard and more reliable GPS than Satio! The higher the expectations, the more SE seems to mess up. Solving problems with new firmware? Forget it! No more buggy smart SEs for me. I even consider Nokia these days.
