I’ve just seen the Car Kit CK100 on the SE website (http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/products/accessories/features/ck100?cc=gb&lc=en#view=overview) which is compatible with the X10 – does anyone know if this will put the phone in car dock mode when the phone gets updated to Android 2.x? Also, does anyone know when this is out in the UK? |

Hiya!
I have just got hold of my unbranded X10 but I am having some very thick issues with it....
Text message tone....
No matter what I do I can't seem to get it to vibrate or make a sound when I get a new text message... Does this feature exist?
Also, how can I stop it from downloading EVERY SINGLE E-MAIL in my inbox... All I want are the new ones! lol
Lastly... does anyone know if there is a website where I can get info on which apps from the iPhone are duplicated for the X10/Android market?

Well, I had updated via SEUS to 026 firmware over a week ago... And I have been genuinely pleased. Overall the phone is much smoother. Timescape and mediascape are a lot faster and smoother.. no lags like before...
@ indiandawg... Try re updating via SEUS if you have updated OTA before. Or else do a clean re install...

I'd like to know this too. Even when I set my X10 to the setting that looks like a vibrate symbol, it doesn't vibrate. Has done this on both firmwares I have had! Anyone know what the problem is? Firmware bug?

I tried but i am not able to use it, despite installing it , its not there when i type the message.
Is there any application for better organization of sms in the inbox, a better music player and a file manager, |

Have you chose swype in the input method option? Long press anywhere on the input field and choose input method. Swype should be an option there for you to select.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 available on AT&T for $149 (or $130 from Sony Style) on August 15. They priced this thing right given its competition with the Captivate and iPhone 4, both at $199.
