@Stef CeBit is a sort of exhibition where companies can showcase their new products/technology. SE is exhibiting there.

i only know for sure that the camera has a cmos sensor but i don't know why is that really imoprtant, we have seen that cmos even if it isn't top-end, can make some very good photos (6630, d500)
i'm almost 100% that the price would be the same as k700's price last year, s700 was a very exclusive phone while this isn't, it has a candy bar shape, it hasn't got any spectacular features, it only improves on it's predecessor... |

good to know the price is going to be "low"
and about the sensor to me itīs important that the pictures quality is good because you pay for the camera function in the phone right ..so why not make it good .. yes you can make a decent pic of an cmos sensor but far from great. and don't come to me whit youre bs about if you want great pic's buy a camera .. well i have one. but i want a good camera in my phone to

No symbian - UI is very similar to K/S700i, but with v3.1 themes (animated highlight bars as in V800), and 'Connectivity' menu has been moved to 'Settings', which means that there must be something else in the desktop icon menu, because there are 12 icons (4 rows of 3). |

@Stef it is not restricted to mobile manufacturers. I do not believe it is on the TV, not where I am anyway. You will be able to pick info on the Web. Plus, of course kind people will post updates here.

yes yes i agree with you about the camera thing, it's just that i think we should wait for some pictures, just to give out my point:
6630 and d500 are not that behind, actuall i recently got a chance to test the 6630 out and although it was only for a day i have seen that the pictures are on pair with s700 and a lot more user friendly at that,
heck i don't mind losing 1 minute just to get that ideal picture or even half an hout with a real digital camera, if i'm after a specific motive i usually take my time but imho i really dn't want to chech the setting on a phone every time the sun changes....
anyaw that was a little offtopic, my point is that ccd doesn't always mean good and cmos doesn't always mean bad,
sagem my x8 has a 1.3 mp ccd sensor and imho it makes worse pictures than 6630 and d500,
it's all in how you make it.... |

Unfortunately, no sign of Clara at the 3GSM... Give it to me already ! Aaaaaaaargh !!
Seems like only the K600 and Z800 was released
Although I have to admit, they both do look good |

There are dozens of pictures of the actual/prototype phone, but strangely not one that I've seen appears to be functional. The screen is off in every shot I've seen except for the black and orange SE marketing style shots.
Does this suggest that the pictures we've all seen are quite old now? Were they taken during the design phase? Before the innards were finalised / functional?
If so, the final product may have evolved somewhat from these (possibly) early photos.
If the photos do show a recent model, why didn't whoever had the phone take any photos of it switched on to show any of the UI? |
