@Cyherus

i use the last option cause i'm using windows 2000. the first option bluetooth won't work for me at all.
well, i sometimes can't get it connected too, even if connected, it says "ERROR: Exception", but after a few tries its okay. i set the COM port to "COM 3" when i connect it with my bluetooth dongle. i think you can try to set "COM 3" or "Com 4" which are the common ones.
the rest of the settings i leave it as it is.

Well.. I've tried that before, but got this..
"Can't open specified device COM3 (Error 5, Access is denied)"

Could this be bcoz I have the XTNDConnect using the port already?! *I rem reading something like this in the forum*..

really hope to be able to use this product.. (anyone here can help?)

@Cyherus

maybe you could check from the bluetooth icon on your system tray, right click, quick connect, Bluetooth serial port and see if its "checked" or has a "tick"? if it doesn't then, check in your control panel, some kind of "Bluetooth Settings" and see if the ports are so called "reserved"? so you might try to "unreserve" it. connect the FMA again and see if it works.

FLOAT

I tried using your software and it seems to sort of work, but I have a few problems. Can you e-mail me please so I can discuss it with you.

Thanks

Beemerman's problem is posted in this thread:
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=31430&forum=18

the way i look at it, i think you might have got yourself an incompatible phone.
just a guess, isit a p800?
cos, up till now, fma is still incompatible with the p800
why dont you try and make a shortcut to the program and add " -debug" to the address specified in the target section of its properties.
it should look something like this:
"C:Program FilesfloAtMobileAgent.exe" -debug
then you may proceed to post the gibberish you get in the debug window here

ps. float might not be here to help you as he is currently busy atm.
you'll notice it a few pages back

@Beemerman
if it's an fMA issue, i suggest you post it here instead for (hopefully)quicker answers.

float isn't quite active in the fMA development nowadays, that's crino's "job" now

Ok, I'll try here instead then!

I removed the Sony Ericsson XTND connect software and the FMA worked. Well, worked in as much as I got the display showing battery status, phone serial number, etc. I also managed to transfer theme files!

For some reason the syncronising of the phonebook doesn't work though, and if I try to syncronise, then says it is doing it....but isn't, then disconnects and won't connect again. At this point I also can't close the program down and have to restart the computer. Then it will connect again.

Incidentally, I then re-installed the XTND software and both programs are still working.

hmm ... you probably had active apps trying to use the same (virtual) com ports. check MPM and your other apps.

Hello!

Under the supported list of bluetooth adapters to the PC MSI PC2PC is listed. I have looked trough their product page but can't find a model named that. One I find interessting is MS-6967, is it supported?

Edit:
Nevermind, I just saw the box on a picture. It says "PC2PC".
Does it really work for 200m?

well... the dongle will transmit 200m but your phone only can transmit 10m...
basically... imagine some1 talking on a loudspeaker standing 200m away from u, and u trying to reply to the person w/o any aids

I finally got to connect my T610 using MSI USB BT dongle using Com5. Had some problems:

1) Did a "Phonebook Sync" and got an error in the end. "Error: Synchronize Aborted"
2) My RSSI bar show about 30%, what does it mean?
3) After making changes in FMA's phonebook, it doesn't update the T610. Tried "force update" but failed too.

Am i doing anything wrong? Please advice.

i had this problem 2 with the phonebook sync m8!
but when it did upload to my t610 i had som duplicates.

it would b better if u had a more user friendly sync from phone to pc button and a sync from pc to fone. So hittin the Phone -> Pc it would download your phonebook onto the pc and vice versa.

Another problem is i cant download my inbox or send a text? not reeli y i intend to use it but jus not sure y i wont download it. i cant even view the msgs inbox.

Thanks m8!
