Had a play with this in CPW the other day. The screen is fantastic and the phone itself feels and looks great.
Just seen the new Slow Motion Video ad just now on TV too.

looks like perhaps a software issue? i think the only one of us who has it right now is XJ.. i'll have mine on monday.
once again, it looks to be a chinese/asia issue? the person who posted the video seems to be chinese.

I've not experienced any hiccups whatsoever, yesterday I was streaming in 4K on YouTube and watched a few of my own videos too.

@milanelo it's been great so far, it's better than my XZ and will get better in time no doubt. Its still early doors though and I'll give a better indication in a week or so.

The xzp launched in India today for pre-order. Available 12th June. So chuffed!! Coming with a SBS XB20 though. A bit underwhelming but CAN'T WAIT!!! |

Which do you think is the XZP?
I have a feeling it's D because of the characteristic Sony noise and blown out highlights but overall more pleasant photos and nice colors. |

I think D too, mostly due to the lowlight performance ha. it's characteristically Sony, I think.

Clove shipped the Xperia XZ Premium to me on June 1, I got it the next day in NYC. Couldn't be happier. Got the free speaker too. Excellent.
Going to take the phone out now on this 70f sunny day and compare shots with the pixel and iPhone 7. Will post links here.

My phone is sitting in NYC right now. I won't get it til Monday unfortunately. Next time I order from Clove I'll probably be living in NYC so I should be getting it the next day just like you.
So jealous! Look forward to seeing your impressions and the photo comparisons. I am kinda looking forward to that little bluetooth speaker. It's not the best out there, but it seems like it'll do nicely as a bedroom music speaker.
@XJ & alinefx - have either of you noticed the alleged distortion in camera or the white lines in video playback ? I'm gonna guess no but just thought i'd ask

@moogoo I've had no issues at all. However I did think my phone was faulty as it didn't charge at all through the night, turns out I hadn't turned the socket on at the wall.  #DumbMoment
